Sylverdawn--- Yeah, for some time I've been considering taking my pictures down. Or just leaving one up with me and my slaves, something to that effect. Did you see your spam lessen significantly?
tammyjo--- Yeah. A lot of my pictures do draw attention to them. As I said I've always gotten compliments on them since I was young, so they are one of my favorite physical attributes. That's really what made me wonder how standard it was for others. I do feel good, but I also wanted to assess if it was a reoccuring theme for others as a standard.
OneMoreWaste--- I agree. Eyes tend to be a safe compliment area. Though I'd prefer they say something nice about my life skills.
OttersSwim--- Like I was saying to Tammy, I thought that my pictures and the nature of them could emphasize that. Perhaps I'll try a little experiment where all pics that are more 'showy' of my eyes are removed, see what sort of generic comments are generated then. And, to reiterate, I'd prefer if they'd comment on my life skills or interests as being interesting. My eye balls may remain the same, but the young creamy skin is temporary. Not a great way to connect over the long term. Which is probably also at the heart of at last some of the comments: just simply using what ever is avaliable to connect with the profile owner.
darchChylde--- Well, you ARE pretty. :P As for those comments.... Maybe they're trying to find a nicer way of saying "I think you look better without facial hair."
Lockit--- My findings too. BUT... one of my slaves (whom I met through Collarme) said to me in his first email something like "I think you have beautiful eyes. But I just am looking for friends. Care to chat?" And I did chat with him platonically for like 2 years before we had a relationship. He actually had some actions to back up his statements. He never was flirty or inappropriate with me at all. I'd consider him a rare exception to the rule. ... And Yeah.. .OMG what IS with Dom men (and w/ me Dom women) that want to dominate another dominant person?!? I just don't get that. I wouldn't want to always been in a struggle. Meh. I guess they like it, and/or rejection?
KonDomme--- Likewise. But I feel like guys tend to be different. Its like "What does society dictate I do to achieve my goal of getting....laid/attention/etc"
PeonForHer--- Lucky you. I get all sorts of raunchy crap. And virtually nothing from the ladies. *pout* I swear the longer I'm here the worse it gets too. Why do you think there's an upsurge?
sunshinemiss--- Well they are lovely. I think mine are too. So it made sense, but I was suspicious of whether or not it was like... a handful of people saying the same nonsense to every Domme around the block. They do that.
tweedydaddy--- I beg to differ. PLENTY of the email I get doesn't require any suffering or even the most mild conception of addressing me personally. I have gotten form letters that were still addressed "Dear WhateverDommeIJustWroteTo"! The only agony in that is shame. Also, I have like two dozen pictures and plenty of them involve more than "just my face". But thanks for the input never the less.

My general impression is that whatever is apparent to the viewer (and basically attractive) generates a lot of comments. So, genuine, but also obviously not in many cases, since its just a rhetoric to get a reaction. At the very least it may be more obvious to assess whether its really well intended or not depending on what ELSE they say and how they act.
