Civic duty. I'd rather face a jury of my peers than a judge, but finding a jury that has not been tampered with through the "jury selection" process, and one that is knowledgable about the full powers of a jury is pretty much impossible. Very few citizens know anything about doctirnes of jury nullification and courts will threaten anyone in the courtroom that tries to inform them on this with contempt of court and a jail cell. Following is a link to site, Fully Informed Jury Association. Some of the information is spot on. Being aware of our rights, and insisting on them, is an important step in the people regaining the power over government. Ooohh, what an idea, a government of, by and for the people. http://www.fija.org/ Uncle Nasty
