greetings to all,

A cmail I received this morning.  It was an..interesting..experience, to say the least.

well wishes,

Arduinna -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (12/4/2008 5:37:34 PM)

My kitten that decided to grab ahold of my head this afternoon with all four paws (claws included!) and started to groom my hair. And then comb my ponytail with his claws.

the suggestion from a well meaning cmer who, when i told him that it was hard to get a car loan because i'm in between jobs and won't start my new one for 13 days, told me to put down a large down payment.  okay, i'll just pull a large down payment out of my ass, do you think they'll take it?

LumusandtheLady -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (12/5/2008 6:55:00 AM)

[8|]  Surrrreeeee, like we're all made of money these days, especially when making a huge-ass cross-country move.

(((hugs))) I know what you're going through, Christine. Seems to me I moved recently across the country (and over the border) myself. *winks*

LumusandtheLady -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (12/5/2008 7:00:35 AM)

[:o]  i think that's part of the problem. 2 dominant males (even if one is snipped and chipped) trying to be Alpha. Ummmm, i hate to break it to Punky but he's gonna lose that one. Big time......

reading the doctor's and staff's reports about me in my daughter's hospital records ...how i'm overprotective, stubborn, aggressive and not giving her the attention she needs which could have led to her mental dysfunction. WTF?!?! what's wrong with a (single-divorced) mother being a little overprotective, stubborn and aggressive these days? it's better being that than a mother who doesn't care.

LumusandtheLady -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (12/5/2008 7:35:25 AM)

[8|]  Wait a minute here..... Overprotective and not giving her attention in the same report? Are they smoking something or taking the drugs meant for the patients? Last time I checked, being overprotective would mean that you're spending a lot of time with a child since you know what's going on and are protecting them. Or is that not attention?

*rolls eyes*

You're doing good, Samba, better to be protective than neglectful. {{{hugs}}}

A second trolling cmail and friend request from some chick in purple lingerie...only now her letters are red instead of pink.  Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand BLOCK!

Lunalay -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (12/5/2008 9:12:45 AM)

My life.

Thought about it today, rolled my eyes, and smacked my forehead to my desk.

x_x

Whyyyyy is everything so complicated!?

Guh.

Ah, and, when I sat on the toilet, the kitten jumped on my lap and stared up at me until he was satisfied that I was done urinating, mewled, and ran out to his bowl.

You can't help but roll your eyes and smile.

The way around that is to write up a family tree of all others with any history of depression, panic attacks, etc. Funny how when you do that they stop asking you if you're sure she wasn't abused and start actually treating the problem.

Don't these idiots know anything about the biology of mood disorders? Always set off by hormonal changes which is adolescents have much higher rates than any other group except for middle age when the hormones start plummeting.

Mine's bipolar, cycles every five minutes and I'm overprotective as hell. Of course I have to be with a kid on the edge like that. But I don't put up with this crap. I know more than most doctor's do at this point. I've had to in order to help her.
