Yes, it was quite stunning - and the rivers! Beautiful. Shame the day was so short. But you can't have everything. As for the leaves I don't know what possessed me I just had to pick them and take them home. I haven't done something like that in decades so perhaps it's early onset of senile dementia. One thing's for sure: if I do anything resembling scrapbooking with those leaves... shoot me! (I hate scrapbooking with a passion, don't know why, really, it's a harmless hobby, but it's just so... pedestrian and female, gaaad!)

No no, I blame scrapbooking for much of today's society's ills. It's an evil recreation: look at the massive industry that developed around those stupid little stickers and albums and bollocky ribbons and shit, and you'll understand deforestation and Walmart. Plus, scrapbooking is bleurgh: soooooo fucking bland [8D] .
