a general question...........i have a lot of old magizines, variations, bitches with whips, kink people places things, and some old fem dom mags, is there a venue anywhere to sell such things ie, ebay, it seems a waste to toss them

You could try www.craigslist.org

Ebay is your friend.  Craigslist is the weird guy that lives in everyone's neighborhood, you don't really hang out, but if you are looking for a particular something, he will find it.

There is also The Marketplace section of this message board, just under the Casual Banter section.  You could post your items for sale there.

There is a "for sale" forum on CM as well, but I can't comment on its use.

Why not keep them? I've got lots and I'm keeping them forever so when I'm old I can look at my old ads and interviews and chuckle about what a colourful life I've had. :)

It sounds like they're newer than I would collect but if we're talking late Victorian Era or earlier in terms of books, photos, etc., drop me a note off-thread.

There is a market for old mags on ebay.  You might also find that the Leather Archives & Museum is interested in obtaining them, depending upon what they are, what they depict, how rare they are, etc.

You can contact the Leather Archives & Museum via telephone at 773-761-9200 or email at [email protected] and ask for Rick Storer.  He's the Executive Director, a very nice guy, and would be genuinely appreciative that you thought enough to contact him.

Anyone who has or finds leather memorabilia and would like to dispose of it should consider the same.

John
