I have done 10 treatments with lazer and 10-15 treatments with electrolysis.  Smooth as a babys butt now.  Seems I still need a little work every 3-5 months but am able to get entire gential area clear in about an hour or less now.  I imagine it will get to the point where I can just pull them out if I want to.

Yea, I shave all over too and it can be challenging to keep the bumps away.  I actually went out and got a Venus razor and that works just great - better than my Mach 3 guy's razor.  I have been using hair conditioner for shaving and it works pretty well.  The thing I have found is to replace the blade every 2-3 shaves, and go light on your touch - don't bear down on it - and stroke with the hair first, then against the grain for those that won't come.

I started shaving 5 weeks ago, and for the first three I was covered in thousands of bumps!  It sucked royally.  Now they are getting better as my skin gets more used to it.  [:)]

i agree, the hair conditioner is great! i guess this coochie cream is the same as the stuff we gots here, bikini zone...it has 2& lidocaine in it.....i thinks it's what keeps the bumps away.

MeadowChance -> RE: Pubic Shaving (10/12/2008 12:10:02 PM)

Wow, do I empathise with this! I have to be smooth too. I'm fair which means I don't have too much down there to worry about, but have REALLY crazily sensitive skin. I tried everything over the years, shaving, creams, waxing - every new product that came out on the market. Even waxing in an all organic, eco-friendly product place. Always the same result, either an allergic reaction (not good!) or those unsightly and sore red bumps.

A few months ago, I discovered the Epilator! Can't recommend it enough. If you haven't tried one, it looks like a shaver, but the head is like a little hooked rotator which actually pulls the hair out by its root - looks scary but it doesn't hurt and you can't nick yourself or anything. Well, the first time I used it, it did hurt a bit, as I had some growth, but not now and I've never ever been so smooth! Only have to use it about every 10 days or so. Love it!

Mine is a Phillips one and cost about €60 - best money I ever spent.

Good luck :)

Thank you NuevaVida [:)]

I'd love to do that instead of normal razor, about to google for a deal now on Mennen.

edited to say:  I was drawn to this thread because I thought it said PUBLIC shaving!!

I "read" the same thing.... at least I'm not alone.

Lordandmaster -> RE: Pubic Shaving (10/12/2008 3:46:15 PM)

Women's razors can't handle my beard.  I've never heard that suggestion and would have serious doubts about it.

Something I highly doubt many people say, but most people I kno realize is an odd fact, if you are a guy, use a womans razor, if you are a girl, use a mans razor... no idea why this is, but ironically it works!

teensub -> RE: Pubic Shaving (10/12/2008 3:49:34 PM)

have just purchased a bottle of coochy, its not cheap tho is it!

YourhandMyAss -> RE: Pubic Shaving (10/12/2008 3:50:37 PM)

I can say clearly and utterly say for me, one time I used it, it hurt and I am not interested in learning to get over the pain or deal with it or try it again.  and I would never ever consent to letting one get near my legs or armpits, let alone my pussy.

i never shave as it leaves me feeling rough. i don't wax either in the pubic region as the nearest i can get a beautician to do is a Brazilian.....(based on the metaphor of de-forestation a Brazilian leaves a strip of hair and is therefore not complete hair removal). However my body has been hair free for many many years and this is because i remove body hair with a good hair removal cream.
i find changing the brand a good idea and 'own labels' (like Tesco hair removal cream here in the UK) works just as well a proprietory brands such as Nair or Veet.
When removing the hair after the required time work away from the hair grow using the plastic spatula which accompanies most hair removal products.
After a few years the hair just doesn't grow back as strongly.

MRandme -> RE: Pubic Shaving (10/12/2008 4:35:05 PM)

Hi all!

i've tried the Cootchy Cream, it works well but i found that hair conditioner works just as well -- i use Aussie Three Minute Miracle. The secret is to sit in a hot bath for a while (or use a hot wet washcloth over the area) then allow the conditioner to sit on the hair for a few minutes.

i bought a product recently called Smooth Away ( https://www.besttvbuys.com/getsmoothaway/index.asp?did=978&refcode=sm3 ) which works great on legs, but not so good on areas where the skin is not so tight. This means i can use it on the upper part of the pubes (and the skin there is smooth and soft, silky when i am done) but doesn't work very well on the areas between my legs. Thing is, my biggest problem with razors is ingrown hairs, which i do get in the upper part, but not in the lower and this system prevents them by exfoliating as you use it.

The best thing is to shave often, every day or two... this also exfoliates and since the hair does not get long, it takes fewer strokes to remove it. That will keep the skin from getting aggravated. i also found that using these little round pads after shaving helps. The main ingredient smells like witch hazel, but there are moisturizers in it too. You can find them in the same area as the bikini razors etc.

I was all ready to read about forcing your woman to grow her pubic hair so you could tie her down all exposed and vulnerable at a party and sometime later in the evening after everyone has wandered by to view her exposed cunt, shaving her naked in front of a large crowd.

Wow, that sounds hawt!  I'd let it grow out again just to have that experience.

MercTech -> RE: Pubic Shaving (10/12/2008 6:40:54 PM)

Williams Shaving Soap is good also.  Lanolin based soap that doesn't cause a rash like so many do.

Of course, you could wax.....

Sorry for the disappointment on Public shaving haha...
Well, at least I got the imagination juices flowing, no?!?

MsStarlett -> RE: Pubic Shaving (10/13/2008 4:58:20 AM)

Ya know... It's so much easier to be a Domme.  I just hand my husband the electric razor and tell him "YOU do it!"  I think he actually enjoys shaving me.

No not really, bikini zone is clear and more of an antiseptic whilst the coochie cream is more like a hair conditioner with extra goodies in it.  I dunno why it's so good but it is.

I too thought this was gonna be about PUBLIC shaving I was disappointed then had a big giggle fit at myself.

The thing with waxing is that you need to let the hair regrow to have it waxed again, so between waxes you get fuzzy, NO FUN !
