Can anyone give me good links to sites which describe slave postures or know of any references I can access on the web?

Thank you.

This is a decent link, with a human being doing the postures:

Question-
Aside from the standard "whatever your owner prefers" are there any widely-used 'slave postures' that are NOT the ones mentioned in the Gor books?

Pure intellectual curiosity here, nothin' more.

Thank you everyone (most everyone) for your helpful response. The information will be valuable.

The positions Elle and I train are available online.

They are somewhat based on Gorean positions, but the names are in English, and not the language of John Norman's imagination. We also have hand signals that are used for silent position training.

We'll actually be doing some position training at Paddles tomorrow night with two delightful slaves...

That's a real nice document, well formatted and clearly explained. Thanks for linking to it.

One question, though - what does "rib cage closed" mean? It is used several times, and each time I can't get past a chest surgery I once watched. Suffering from a little over-literalism here.

I have a download of the Lab's (Denver) High Protocol Book. It has quite a few slave positions in it. If you would like, i could send it to you. Just let me know.

This is a good place to look. There is quite a bit of information on www.frugaldomme.com for both doms and dommes. Enjoy visiting when I get a chance.

This is a site I still have up from the high protocol educational group I founded a couple years ago. The group is inactive now, but the site still has some good info on it including slave positions with pictures. Enjoy! http://www.enslavedrose.org

I've seen a few.

Silently standing with hands behind the back while a submissive waits or even when talking -- fidgeting hands are a distraction to everyone.

Kneeling in general is very very common.

Some sort of bow or dip of the head after receiving an instruction, order, command, whatever is also common.

I developed my own set of eight positions over a decade ago that I stick with -- they are both useful for what I want and help the person go deeper into a desired state of mind because during training we drill on them and they become second nature.

Hmmm...kinda hard to explain that one in words. Essentially it is my short hand for what you need to do to maintain a "ballet" posture. It involved keeping your pelvis level, your chest open, your back straight and your belly button pressed into your spine.

One of the most common mistakes slaves make when assuming these positions is opening their chest and their rib cage, creating a curve in their spine, and a weak position.

For us, positions are much more then how you kneel or stand...they are a way to show your submission in each and every part of your body.

Hmmmm, Sir's still working on the "Be Nice and Bite Your Tongue" posture with me. Perhaps when I've figured that one out, I'll make a website.....
