I know there are a few people here who have accounts on both sites, and i just wanted to advise you all to keep an eye on your account. I just got an e-mail at my Alt.com address from, well... me. Which was surprising, considering that I hadn't sent myself any e-mails. So I opened it up, and it was from someone in Australia who had logged onto her account, and was taken straight into my account. She had complete access to my entire account, and thankfully for me she was an honorable person because all she used it for was to send me a warning e-mail from my own account. I'm probably cancelling my account there and never going back. Y'all might want to exercise a little caution with your own account info there.

Yeah. more and more I wonder why I even bother with Alt or B.com. I still like some of the discussion forums on B.com, but the site as a whole sucks rotten eggs. Alt is... well, I don't need to tell anyone what a POS that site is. I'm preaching to the choir. Really, the more I think about it, the more apparent it becomes this is the only kink site anyone needs to go to. The forums aren't quite what the B.com forums were in their heyday, but they're in the same league, and they're sure one hell of a lot better moderated than the B.com forums ever were. This really is the place to be, ain't it?

Alt is owned by Matchmaker which is notorious for using their own employees to fake accounts to ensure numerous initial responses. After collecting fees, they dry up.
