Hey Dave! The ultimate Geography song sung by the ultimate Country and Western Star, Mr. Johnny Cash : I've Been Everywhere.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eI4BumtpfA

I was totin my pack along the long dusty Winnemucca road
When along came a semi with a high canvas covered load
If your goin' to Winnemucca, Mack, with me you can ride
And so I climbed into the cab and then I settled down inside
He asked me if I'd seen a road with so much dust and sand
And I said, "Listen! I've traveled every road in this here land!"

I've been everywhere, man
I've been everywhere, man
Crossed the deserts bare, man
I've breathed the mountain air, man
Travel - I've had my share, man
I've been everywhere.

I've been to:

MstrPBK -> RE: Musical Geography! (10/13/2008 9:22:42 PM)

Yacko, "the Warner Brother", did two geography songs ...

One was of the US states ... and the other was a brilliant production of the singing of the countries (of that time) of the world.

You may need to do some scrounging on the Cartoon Network or Warner Brothers animation archives; I assure you these musical works by the Animaniacs do exist!.

MstrPBK
St. Paul, MN

sung "... the ending, the ending, the ending to our story ... "
