Status: offline 		I am looking forward to seeing it. The only frustrating thing is why do all the good movies come out at once. I also want to see Narnia and the rolling stone movie but with all the holiday parties we are invited to , it is going to be impossible. Still, better feast than famine!

Status: offline 		I like Peter Jackson but remakes bore me, especially when the film was done right the first time.

What Hollywood ought to do is remake BAD movies, and make them good.

Status: offline 		I'm usually skeptical of remakes and sequels, but so far the reviews on this look unusually good:

Metacritic average reviews of King Kong

It is getting far better reviews than the last big monster remake I can think of:

Metacritic average reviews of Godzilla

That score is just based on a handful of reviews and we know thrre are more to come; I'll check that site and see if they stay that high and just might go. I wonder how it ends?

Status: offline 		I'm going to see it but I'm not sure how good it will be. Since Jurassic Park, the "blockbuster" films seem to be relying more and more on computer graphics and there are times where it just doesn't go over too well if there's too much of it. There have been a few movies where it seems it's more an excuse to play with graphics than to make a good film. So we will see.

One movie I'd like to see remade is "The Day the Earth Stood Still." The message is really the same today and I think someone like Spielberg or Cameron would do an excellent job.

Status: offline 		I cannot believe that not one Mistress has spoken about about making him a sub---think of the training, what would one use as a dungeon? the superdome? no that's gone, hmm the Astrodome? You'd have to have a cherry picker to pick up the toys! but there is something to be said about bringing him to a fetish event in collar and leash---ok I have to go cook pumpkin, I am having way too much fun---

I told her that I am tired of seeing things like giant apes or lizards, instead I want to see something like a giant chicken running amok. I can just see it now, The giant rooster gives his early morning crow and the skyscrapers all blast inwards from it. Oh, and just imagine an ironic scene where a man who looks like the kfc Colonal gets plucked off the sidewalk and eaten!

Status: offline 		Irregardless of what the critics say I will see it. I remember when the critics gave Jurassic park the thumbs down, and it turned out to be awesome.

On a side note... I went and watched ''Syriana'' this past weekend. While not up to par to Traffic, Gaghan did an excellent job twisting up the plot with intrigue and conspiracy. I'm not usually a Clooney fan either, but this was one of his better films in my opinion.

of all the re-makes, using music from back in the day
to sell crap on T.V. and retro clothes.

WTF, is everyone losing their imaginations?
They have to go backwards and twist someone else's work
because their brains don't function in "forward"?

I want NEW and exciting thoughts and feelings shared coming
from the arts! I wish people would quit capitalizing on the "already done"
and freak us all out and take us somewhere we haven't gone before.
