Gennerally I cant be bothered to waste the time spamming the spammers, and simply ignore the few that come my way. All though sometimes if I am feeling cranky I do allow myself to say something pissy back, but most times I don't bother since nothing is gained by it, and it's a waste of time i could be doing other enjoyable things.quote:
ORIGINAL: spinntja I get them. You get them. Everyone gets them. "Hey Goddess! I have no idea what you want because I did not read your profile, so let's talk about me." Over the years I've crafted a number of cut-n-paste responses, but that just makes me cranky and is not an effective way to educate the senders (some of whom are just new or just ignorant). What if we got together to beat them at their own game? If we come up with one text, and if enough of us start using it, filling the spammers' mailboxes with generic rejection letters, two or three might get the point. That would make the world a better place, would it not? So... Anyone got any good read-before-you-spam notes they'd care to share? -- SJ
