Hi All,
I had a less then great incident at work a bout 3 weeks ago, where an argument w a coworker, (she was arguing, I was asking her nicely) got me into a little hot water for stirring up the staff.
Anyway, I said F it, and since then, have locked myself in my private back office and not said a word to anyone for nearly 3 weeks.
I just hang out in collarchat, and come out when paged to see clients, go back and chat.
The new office manager, (trouble shooter) came to me after a front office training session today that I didn't attend, (I'm back office), and said, "I don't know what you did, but Every comment made about you (me) today was positive". That never happens as I'm usually pissing someone off. ( I'm told Doms like to push button). Since I'm the newest guy the hen house likes to talk SH about me, and usually has a reason.
Well,I didn't do Anything but stay out of sight and chat chat chat online, here.
Thanks Collarchat, for making me look good at work.

Be sure you clean out your history and any other traces of your use of the employer's pc to go on CM.....I had a friend who ended in terrible trouble for this.

Best wishes.

I will say that some offices might not like execs or staff spending time on an adult site during the day, but I'm sort of an independant contractor/executive, not on payroll, and they asked me to, "Just don't print downloaded porn onto the main printer" (located right into the middle of the hen house), content isn't blocked or limited
So my condition is to keep what I do very private. I don't recommend trying this at your office

thanks candy, prolly a good privacy measure.

I usually try to just collapse the screen when I leave the privacy of my office, (mid scene ) and take a minute so to make sure I don't greet clients w a huge woody blasting through the front of my slacks.

but clearing history was something that crossed my mind as a good precaution

I totally acknowledge that I may have misread your OP however it seems that more than anything you are practicing avoidance by locking yourself in your office chatting all day and I am not sure how long that can successfully work for.

Welcome to the forums.

LMFAO === that is just to funny.  You might try using Googles new web server chrome because it does has a feature that does not record your movement.  There also a free program called CCleaner that is great for cleaning up messes.

Have you considered the possiblity that he/she was concerned with you isolating yourself, and took the opportunity to boost your confidence? No manager worth his/her salt is going to let you fester in solitary confinement.

Having said that, you'll be wise to heed this piece of advice: grasp the peace offering, because in the event you don't, he/she will not risk a depression case on his/her hands, which means the manager will find a way to get rid of you.

NorthernGent is right. I'd take both our advice in succession. Then tell them that you are part African American, then everyone will be afraid of offending you.

Half joking,

That is soooo not true.

Men that cry totally creep me out. As for gay men, i don't have a problem with them at all, most the guys I know are awesome, but if you are acting "fem" just to get attention I find it annoying as hell. If they are genuine then no issues.

I don't think I would count on this being the way to deal with your work life on a full time basis.  I think learning to control your button pushing impulses would be more effective and greatly appreciated.  There are ways to express dominance that do not have to result in you appearing to be a jackass.  Shouldn't you really have the hen house eagerly scratching and pecking for your attention?  (kidding, kidding... sheesh)
