And Maine. Remember he abandoned Michigan recently? It`s not looking good for McCain/Palin. "WASHINGTON - The Republican National Committee is halting presidential ads in Wisconsin and Maine, turning much of its attention to usually Republican states where GOP nominee John McCain shows signs of faltering. The party's independent ad operation is doubling its budget to about $10 million and focusing on crucial states such as Colorado, Missouri, Indiana and Virginia where Democrat Barack Obama has established a foothold, according to a Republican strategist familiar with presidential ad placements" http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081015/ap_on_el_pr/campaign_ads They have to defend red states,lol.Who knew?

The Debate did not pull him up??????? But all last week he kept saying he was going to bring it to Obama, how can he bring it to him if he keeps pulling out of the race? Personally, I would not want to win this election, with the debt, the war and the market place, winning just might be the worst thing to happen to someone in politics. Though I do believe Obama has a better chance at pulling us out of this mess.

From what my "inside" sources say, the McCain campaign polls show him significantly ahead in these states and so he is focusing on more battleground states.... Hey..could be true!!

Funny, I just read a CNN article stating that McCain was still mining northern Maine, that he figured that it was similar enough to Alaska that he sent the Palins to stump for him. Maine has four electoral votes, and they'll get split proportionately, so his effort is basically chasing a single vote, maybe two.
