What are some of your favorite Holiday (Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Year's) foods?

Feel free to share those recipes here!

popcorn balls at Christmas....it's the only time of year my mom ever made them, the recipe is a really old one, in her head, more or less....I gotta get it from her.......I think it has molasses in it.....but I could chow down on them a dozen at a time!  Of course, until I find a sugar free Karo syrup, I'm not gonna be able to have them.......stoopid diabetes!

sooo easy:

DUMP CAKE:

Layer:
1 can of undrained pineapple
1-2 cans of pie filling (cherry or apple are yummy)
1 box of yellow cake mix
coconut and or nuts (both are optional)
1 and 1/2 sticks of melted butter/oleo

Bake at 350 for about an hour

I posted this on another thread.

Take a boxed chocolate cake mix and add cut up candy bars. Snickers, Peanut Butter Cups, Milky Way Bars, etc. You can save a little $$$ by buying the Halloween candy after the holiday and freezing it.

Here is my one and only contribution for anything "holiday" related for this year...

Pfeffernusse. This is my holiday food weakness. Everything else I can walk away from at will except for this treat. I've never made it, having only relied upon store bought goods, but I've found a couple of highly rated recipes elsewhere. Pfeffernusse.

Oh, the recipe sounds fine and I'm sure it's delicious. It's the name, dear girl, that squicks me. Somehow, hearing, "here, honey, close your eyes, open wide and have some dump cake" just makes me not wanna open wide,
