I dunno. I have 2 profiles here. This one and one I use when I go to the chat rooms (sunarama) using java cause my name is registered on mirc. It's not deceitful. It's practical. Ask the man!

Fun is important for some/maybe a lot, it's more than that. Some want to form a way of life and a future and in order to do that, open communication if needed. Sunshinemiss, you're creating drama where none exists. She was talking to tweedydaddy. I've already created enough unnecessary drama on this thread.

I would recommend addressing the issue with directness. Honesty connotes to safety. If you can't trust him, that is an issue,imo. Davan

Having a sub and a dom profile when you protray yourself as a dom without revealing it to you partner to my mind is a lie only if you get caught, lol and he got busted. I'm assumeing this a online thing. It's not fun anymore time to move on and find someone who is what they represent themselves to be. I suspect the OP knows this already. BadOne

When I was fairly new to the scene I met a Dominant who I just clicked with when we were around each other; we'd be at the same play parties and gravitate towards each other, end up playing, end up back at His place etc, (one of the few times I was involved with someone with being "involved") We went to a private play party one night and after a bit He left me alone in a room where I was in a discussion with some other submissives, after a bit I went to look for Him and found Him in a room with a woman, "He" was on the St. Andrews Cross, "He" was the one being flogged and I was totally shocked and a bit upset. We talked about it and He explained that yes He was a Dominant but every once in a blue moon He needed what He gave to me, I was too new to the scene, too insecure to deal with it and before I could He moved out of state for a new job. I don't generally deal with Switches but I can now understand and embrace and accept Them for who they are and know that as with other things in this lifestyle it's a personal choice and you just have to deal with what you can deal with. The two profiles is a bit upsetting as He could put it all in one profile and I know this is ask the Master forum but could not pass this one by and by the way, great answers everyone.

These sorts discussions, to me, always seem to be more indicative of who has issues with being overly sensitive about duplicity rather than of who may actually be duplicitous.
