I haven't been on the boards much these past few days. Folks who know Me have come to learn there's a reason for a forum junkie like Me to be away. It means that I'm too happy with My real life to pay much attention here.
The simple way to say this is that My clip was home here with Me for a little while. For those who have participated in a long distance relationship, you know how important these visits really are. Sometimes, there just aren't enough hours in the day. This can be especially true when a person has to work a lot of hours during that time. When clip took up the habit of getting up before dawn, just to make sure he could get Me breakfast, sit at My feet, and put My shoes on before leaving, it made Me all the more happy to have him here.
Of course, it wasn't all work. My sub and I made Dom Con in Atlanta this year. I had a great time at this event. I met a lot of good folks, including UndergroundSea, who I've been a fan of for some time. Sir Dale's Interrogation 301 class was probably the hit of the weekend, with Insatiable Amazon's violet wand demo a fun second. I'd like to thank all three of those named presenters who made the weekend very interesting from a demo perspective. Of course, I have to thank those who referenced Me by name during their slots. It was good to see you again.
I can't convey to the readers of these boards what this brief time with clip meant to Me. My sub came back to Me with a great fulfillment of bond and structure. His brand was reapplied and it is now a permanent mark. I can't list here the number of ways that the dynamic was reinforced. The fact that it is a dynamic that has grown to involve love between Dominant and submissive.
