If I have sent any of my darlings here pics of my trip to the UK, PLEASE..can you send them to me? Since the old computer fried, I don't have them, and I THOUGHT I'd burned them to disc.. if I did, I cant find the disc *cries*

PS. I just thought of something. The lightning destroyed your mother board, but I wonder if it damaged your hard drive. I'm not a geek, so wouldnt know.

yeah, according to BlkPhx (many blessings upon him and poen) my HD is fried, as well as my video card.. at that point he quit doing diagnostics... *sigh*

I was thinking that maybe you could have had someone more qualified to maybe/possibly get the pics off your computer but it seems that you already tried to go that route, sorry.

Have you tried to see if someone could recover the photos from your drive, even if it has been fried? Sometimes they can still pull a few things.

Once a HD has fried itsd just about impossible to get jack off them,thats the reason Diane and myself use an external drive to store pics. web sites info etc...You can find them at wally world or anyone that handles electronics...
