If you could sit down and have dinner with anyone in history who would it be and why?

for me is it would be De Vinci, becasue i find him to be fasinating with all he did in his life

The Pope

and not because I am a devout Catholic either...I am actually a practicing Druid...

I just have always had this dream of one day meeting the Pope...to sit down and have dinner with him would be twice as nice :)

Marqui de Sade sounds like some one I could enjoy a nice meal with. The food would include whine, pork, and chocolate moose severed on naked submissives that we would eat off of while discussing ideas for a new story.

However, I might also have dinner with 1940's emperor of Japan just to ask "Why where you joining a mad man in WWII who is bent on making one pure blond hair n blue eye Arian race who already back stabed Italy and Russia? Are you insane? After all, it'll only be time before Germany back stabs and declares genocide on you and the far east as well."

For sure Japan had its problems with resources but I have never understood why Japan would want to join Hitler. Surely they new how Hitler was opposed to other races and only wanted a pure Arian Race. Did they ever think that they would one day be attacked by German Forces? They had to have known by Hitlers attacks against Italy and Russia along with his genocide practices would eventually be attempted on Japan. So why did they join him?

I would love to have one more visit with my Dad. We were just beginning to understand each other when he died. I still mourn the loss of the relationship we could have had.

You and girl4you2 are reminding me that #1 on the list of people I would love to sit and talk to for hours, is my dad who passed away while I was too young to have a conversation with him about the kind of man that he was and taught me to respect... There are definitely no others before him. M

I would have to say Gen George Patton. Just the way he led his Army and thoughts on tactics.
