I know this is a bit random, but I am wondering if anyone knows that the 20 free songs are that you get when you register Rockband 2?  I can not find out anywhere!

They are all pretty obscure bands and songs so unless you know your music..?  There aren't any big names there.  There is conflicting info, but the general list 'out there' is as follows -

Rock Band 2's 20 Free Songs Revealed Get ready for free downloadable tracks from... wait a minute, who?The much ballyhooed 20 free downloadable songs for Rock Band 2 have officially been revealed. These bonus tracks are scheduled to arrive November 4 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with the Wii version receiving them once it ships in December. Don't feel too bad if you recognize more band names in your alphabet soup; we're in the same boat as you. The list is populated with surprisingly underground, lesser-known artists, at least one of which (Shaimus) is fronted by developers from Harmonix. Chances are this isn't what you expected when you filled out that DLC suggestion form earlier this month, but we'll reserve judgement until we've actually played the songs.

This is a fun game though I enjoy watching more than playing myself.

I get too stressed about making mistakes and upsetting other players and the result is I have very little fun when I play.

Get me the clarinet attachment and I can do better -- lol.

No worries.  That is only the freebies, the tracks on the disc are much better and more well known.  Shaimus and Opiate are pretty cool though.  Yeah, I am - no strike that - WE are pretty much Rock Band and Guitar Hero freakoid nerds.[:D]

Oh yeah, the game is great and the new tracks on RB2 are most excellent!  They even have Steven and the Colbert's  "Charlene"  I was laughing so hard I got booed off stage!

Do you participate on all the band or just some?  I cannot for the life of me get the drums.  I look like a squid playing, arms and legs everywhere.  I stick to guitar and vocals in general.  Although I have to admit, singing vocal ranges similar to 'mississippi queen' or 'let there be rock' has me talking like I have smoked 50 a day the next morning.[:D]

We don't play online as Master is not fond of keeping his machine open on the internet (he is a computer guy)... if you are having trouble with the drums, try recalibrating, it made a world of difference to me, then do the solo tour and start on easy.

The only way to get to Carnegie Hall is to practice practice practice!

I am just totally uncordinated when it comes to the drums.  Darcy has no problems. my daughter rocks completely on them and guitar.  Me?  I am totally outside my comfort zone on them.  I look like someone stuck me in a power socket and just switched it on.[:D]  I won't even say where one of the drum sticks ended up once...
The whole family just get fed up having to 'save' my arse so I stick to the others.[:)]

Hahaha!  Yeah I usually do not play the drums unless I get stuck there, I like the guitar, and of course singing is a cake walk, so its the best place to be when you are playing and drinking like a rock star!  Party on Wayne.
