I think we all approach the unfolding of the words submissive and slave from the standpoint of our own inner directives and for many of us the word slave includes cuckold as its part. Jealousy plays no roll nor is the indulgence of similar character flaws even a remote consideration. Both submission and slavery are first about self-discipline, an honor code we commit ourselves to.

Uh, that MIGHT be true for you but for very few other people and certainly not the majority. As for humiliation extinguishing jealousy, well perhaps for some but I can't imagine that works for many.

One of my partners gets off on me being with other women. I could use her as the bed and the cleaning service while I fuck other women in whatever hole I choose and she would be almost to the point of squirting. She gets off for many reasons, some I don't understand, probably a few she doesn't either but the two biggest would be pride in me being a "stud" in her eyes and the other in being objectified. Now NONE of that would work if the rest of the relationship was not based on a bedrock of deep trust and respect, it does NOT occur in a vacuum.

You can feel jealousy and humiliation at the same time - it is not uncommon at all for them to go hand in hand. There is a strong link between the two and the aftereffects can be long lasting. The humiliation will rarely "extinguish" the jealousy though it may overshadow it for a short while. In some cases the humiliation will only make the jealousy grow, especially if the partner who is being used in the cucking situation is obviously pleasing the Mistress well.
