eh. this topic has been covered a zillion times. So for the final time. I CANT shave my pits. The hair grows in. And your viewing pleasure for the two seconds you might see me, is not my concern. What is my concern is the serious infections I encounter each and every time I make the mistake of thinking this time the hair wont grow in! lolol Im a dummy. lolol

Sooo. I take sissors and trim it all close. Why? Because if I dont I smell myself halfway thru the day. And it bugs me. So fashion be damned when it comes to shaving a pit.

I also trim the lady garden. (lady garden. lol I heard that somewhere and it cracks me up) I can even run a shaver over my twelve leg hairs as well. My OP likes that and if it makes him happy I'll do it. For myself Im fine with leg hair. But not to be sexist. I like a clean shaven man these days as well. I mean not wax the body and rip it all out. I mean some trimming around the boys and a body that's genetically not really hairy. Not that I'm against a hairy man if I found one I could love. mind over matter.

i have so little body hair it's not even funny. i shave my pits about once every 6 weeks, and even then it's iffy if anyone woulda noticed a hair. my legs i shave on fridays. again, it's almost impossoible to see any nubs even then but Daunt's always rubbin my legs so i want to keep 'em a little smooother. as to the carpet, sooooo little hair i trim it about once every 3-4 months. plus the Man doesn't mind the trimmed hair so it's all good.

now as to Men :D i like Men so hair, or no hair, is fine. Daunt is a big ole Hairy biker. and i like it!! and i think His armspits smell nice

I dislike body hair. I dont like how it feels when I am wearing clothes, and so I shave. I honestly couldnt care less if someone else liked or disliked how I look shaven, it is for my comfort.
Fox is clean shaven for the same reason, he dislikes body hair.
There is a difference between someones natural scent being pleasant and someone who works themselves into a sweat and is unsettling to be around. I work in a store and when we stock, it is very physical. I cant imagine alowing myself to be hairy and to get that sweaty and then have to make it through the rest of my work day without being able to shower. At least when I am clean shaven I can duck into a bathroom stall and use a hand-wipe to get rid of the worst of it, but they do not work over hair (it has been tried by some of the guys at the store)

Though it apparently burns like hell, one of the Mediterranean fellows where I work uses alcohol wipes on all of her hair-bearing areas from the neck down... arms, to pits, to legs, to privates, and on the bottoms of her feet before she goes to the clinic -- it kills bacteria and stops odor dead for about 4-6 hours, even when she's in the OR and sweating.

Bleurgh. None of my eurobabe friends leave their armpits unattended. To say that all european women have hairy armpits is the equivalent of saying that all American women have hirsute legs and moustaches (like Sarah Palin, as seen on 'that' Newsweek cover a couple of weeks ago)

Shaving or lack thereof also seems to depend a lot on where in Europe you are. Some French women choose not to shave. Many Italian and Greek women choose not to shave. Many Spanish women (most of the ones I've met) and Portuguese women DO shave, as do many of the German, Swiss, and Slavic women I've met over the years.

Like umm... a dance troupe called UNMATA -- several of their members don't shave, and that fact alone has kept alot of people from even going to see them, regardless of how insanely amazing they are. =p that kind of prejudice is really silly, when it's perfectly acceptable for a guy to flash groadie, sweaty, deodoranty hairy pitts at the world. =p that's just YUCK on anyone.
and there are a heck of alot of skin issues you can wind up in shaving too much. staph infections from shaving nicks are one that i hear about ALOT. and no amount of shaving cream or lotion afterwards makes your skin feel better if you've got sensitive skin. =p i've got really finicky skin that doesn't like to be shaved AT ALL, i just don't like body hair =p but it is very unnatural and is primarily imposed on females even though we grow hair naturally, too =p

electrolysis from the neck down would be ideal haha

If there were something that worked well and didnt hurt like hell, Id likely be all over it. However, right now the most effective thing I have is a hand sanitizer with aloe on smooth skin. That stings a touch, but it isnt too horrid and I feel far cleaner than I did before.

you know, I hate shaving. What is it with Men who want a shaven girl? Blech. I do it, but I hate it. My pretty girlie hairs used to be all soft and curly and then after my first shave, they are stiff and straight. blech. But I did find a couple of bald spots I hadn't known about. heh.

When I used to go sailing (with my fear of water, can you believe I did this?), I wouldn't shave my legs because I could feel the wind direction better if I had hair. I lose so much sensation when I shave my legs. You don't need all the details.

I hate shaving my pits too except in summer when I'm really hot and gunk collects. It's a pain in the pit. And don't put on deodorant if you have a lil cut (or accidentally cut a mole off your pit when you shaved and didn't play close attension. OWWWWWWWWWWWW)

Ok, perhaps the term "all" was wrong. But, she is from Greece and when I visit there and head to the beachs, I would say 85% of the women are not shaved.

we don't go to the tourest spots, just visit her family on the smaller island which are mostly local with mostly people from europe visiting.
