Sinvention Canada has just brought out some new items to their catalogue of gear and I have to say that I think Im in lust. They are called Ballet Splints.
Check them out at

I like those but I can't help but think of the crippling charlie horses I would get if Alpha made me walk around too much.

Marquis used to have some that were metal instead of wood (see:here I notice they've gone up, guess people are buying them). They're pretty interesting but not at all meant to be walking in. There is no support for the toes. If one were to remove the bottom strap such that the toes can flatten out I could see it being possible but that ruins part of the effect now doesn't it?

Interesting, but I can see myself getting foot cramps in them.

There are a few other differences if you look closely. Particularly with the "splint" part behind the foot. Really nothing major and CERTAINLY not worth the extra hundred or so monies.

While I am certainly biased towards Sinvention, they are still costly, even with a weak canadian dollar, but 650us$ compared to 400us$, crikey. They certainly aren't meant for walking or even standing for even a short length of time.
I just like the restraint and shaping aspect.

That is the point of these, I believe. I dont have any experience nor know anyone who does but I don't imagine they're for serious foot training, either. I could be wrong, though. Would be curious to hear a testimonial.

http://www.footstretch.com/

Add some nice black rubber straps, and you're rollin' for half the money

Yes, those are more of what I mean for foot training as opposed to just (very hawt) bondage devices.

Real ballet dancers actually use a device similar to this to strecth their muscles and train their feet and legs but ehy are a bit different than these.  I can build some more similar to the authentic strecthers for a much less money than these if anyone is interested.
