SomethingCatchy -> Visiting a kinky friend (10/23/2008 7:11:50 AM)

I've met someone from CM and this weekend I'll be visiting him and staying over night. We are strictly friends so there will be no hanky panky/kink stuff going on. Unless, of course, he succumbs to my wily female ways [;)]

Anyway, we'll have the whole weekend to have fun, and he's asked if there's anything specific I'd like to plan so that we can have a plan to fall back on. I plan on cooking him breakfast (it's a thank you gesture for something he did for me), bringing a bondage book he bought me so that we can practice our knots on each other, and cooking him dinner (because I love to cook). Other than that, I don't have a clue what else to plan. We can do museums and such, but I'd like to get a few fresh ideas from others that I might suggest.

You might try touring some local "kink" shops, if you feel your relationship has progressed far enough to be comfortable with that...

Art Galleries are some of my favorite hangouts... as are used bookstores.

Taking a walk in a local park, just talking, is always a nice way to spend a day, especially with the great fall weather we're having.

Perhaps there's some event taking place that you would both enjoy? Although the summer is gone, there are plenty of autumn and Halloween-related things you could do: is there a corn maze in your area? How about a local haunted house for charity? Any orchards in the outlying areas that let you pick your own pumpkins, or apples, or other fruit? They might even have a cider press available...

Fun stuff, and good wholesome entertainment, which should distract you both from what you both REALLY want to be doing... LOL  [;)]

Ohh, corn mazes... good idea! I'll have to look it up real quick, but since it's a densely populated area I'm sure there's something spooky related going on. I can't believe I forgot what season it was lol He's also been saying he misses back home and how they used to pick their own apples, so I'll have to see if there are any local orchards, too. Thanks!

Have you considered exchanging knitting tips? I know, it's a little daring, but if you're comfortable, it can be wonderfully fulfilling :-).

Knitting tips? you'll have to explain that one for me.

Methinks kittin needs an OTK  'pankin'.

OP, perhaps not overplanning the visit would leave more room to improvise and let things take their natural course. Time flies, yanno, and just hanging out and being spontaneous is a good way to get to know each other.
