Considering this is the "Ask a Master" section of the forum, why do so many subbies and slaves respond to the posts? i know im guilty of it.. i just cant help myself some questions i just really really want to respond to.

Because the forums aren't designed to be restricted to those of the orientation in the title.

As I understand it, the title of the board is to break down where to look for spesific types of questions, not to designate who can ask and answer.

Seems like you answered your own question. Of course people can post anywhere, but it's nice to get lots of varying answers and see how others feel.

Nothing to be guilty of. I respond to any post I feel I have a unique or interesting perspective to add to it.

Trust me, doms would be pretty lost if subs/slaves never gave their voice or perspective.

There are many answers to questions asked. I for one have never considered what the chosen role is of anyone who posts. I just enjoy the information, or the humor, or the sarcasm.

Much like others, I don't mind if subs or women etc also post here. Though I would imagine the questions asked are from those mainly seeking a Dom's or Master's perspective so it may matter more to the OP.

What does annoy me (in 'Ask a Master') is the number of posts from "non Dom" peoples who detract from the subject by attacking someone else's post without ever commenting on the actual topic themselves! My preference is to read and post because of interest in the topic but that's not to say I won't shift into "combat mode" when the sniping "junk mail" posts start taking over. I'm almost convinced some subs just post here to crank up their 'post counter'....

And I understand what you're saying because I've never actually posted in 'Ask a submissive' for just that obvious reason. But, with some exceptions from serial offenders, I almost always like reading what fem/subs generally have to say on an interesting topic, no matter what Forum it's in.

Focus.

I do if the question asked is one that can be answered by all sides. Or, if I need something clarified, I'll post it as a sort of response in the hopes of having it answered lol.

Often the questions and discussions are interesting so i join even if i have boobs and are a submissive, i asume i wikll be told so if i ofend anyone.

It's like trying to peek over the stall in the opposite gender's bathroom. You just wan to see.what you may be missing.
I like to post on all forums and give my .02, as I would hate to miss something that I may need later on these boards....Like what submissives look for in a Dominant.Inquiring Doms want to know!

You are correct in that this is a Masters response forum...

those who respond and submit input who are sub/slaves are ones who "need to be heard" so they place their input here...

The question comes up now...do the same sub/slaves respond to the ask sub/slave forums?

That thought this is an a Master forum it is an open forum also...
so anyone is able to respond and if they wish then they may and obviously do.

It is simple enough to move to the next

I sort of felt the same way, when I first came to the Message Forum, slavejali, [;)] until I read many of the posts and found most to be coming from a thoughtful and intelligent, well rounded perspective. Categorizing the messages makes sense, and so do most posters, regardless of their "orientation." I'm enjoying the views posted...most of the time. [:D]
