Just one more story of patience being worth the wait. So many have disappointed in a conversation, a day, a week, a month, longer... I kept giving up and swearing i wasn't looking again, just to get my hopes up, and dashed. I think i kinda got numb. Maybe that's how he sneaked under my radar. Making me break all my rules. But who knew how well it would work. I never imagined we were just what the other needed. Too good to be true, surely! But then...

I met with my precious pet last night. Getting together was just as amazing as i expected. The truly amazing part was that i feel we were both being nothing but ourselves. There is nothing more satisfying than feeling a bond grow deeper through experiences. Caring, concern, and consideration is making this something special. For 2 people whose lives were almost complete, it's nice to find that piece you weren't quite sure was missing...

Add to that my life mate, partner, my love, being there for me. Supporting me, calling to check as the night went on, letting me know how much he still loves me when i got home. I couldn't ask for more in my life right now
