I was a monster. And I dont have kids. I'm grateful that my mom NEVER wished kids on me. But nonetheless, I apologize to my mom several times a year.

I apologize to my parents every time I talk to them..... and I don't even have kids. I'm actually scared to have them, lest they turn out like me- especially a teenage daughter shudder[sm=nervous.gif]

If my daughter turns out to be like me, better chance of having to hide the shotgun from her before she uses it than there would be of me having to use it on an annoying boyfriend. Combine my temper with my wife's... shudder Thank the gods that I make armor for a living. Her first husband will definately need it if the temper tantrums that I am treated to at this young age are any indication of the danger he will face the first time he pisses her off. LOL The one that gets me is the other two are in no way my blood and still manage to be just like I was at that age... definately confuzzling.

Have you ever noticed that no matter how fast you go on the highway, there is always someone impatiently waiting to go around you? Usually in a car with a weaker engine, so once they get up there a ways, you usually end up passing them again 50-60 miles down the road.

Have you ever noticed that mothers curse children with clones, but fathers usually just sit back and laugh? Is it that they know the inevitability of your spawn doing the same stupid ass crap that you did, or is it that they are just willing to sit back and watch the festivities without investing more energy than necessary? I know my dad is, bastage that he is for laughing about it.

That's why being a grandparent is the sweetest revenge. My son has already apologized to me for his antics, and everytime the grand-um does something that is clearly hereditary, I just sit and grin like an idiot! [:D]
