Status: offline 		I was having a discussion with a coworker today.  He made the claim that most of Obama's campaign funds could be traced to the middke east.  I think it would have been bigger news if it were true.  Wouldn't the pubs have plastered it all over the world? 
Anybody know where to find the numbers to show this guy that he's off his noodle?  I would look it up myself but I have trouble finding good porn on the internet without directions.

Status: offline 		How do you defend against craziness?  There are several articles on the internet that have already been shown to be false.  Here is the link for one.

In the end he will believe it because he wants to.  It doesn't really matter what you say.  Some of these go right along with the claims that he is not a citizen, etc..

Status: offline 		It`s one of hundreds of fibs/lies told by the right-wingers.The target audiance, is the less curious among us who think something`s true if they read it.

Add this fib to Obama`s wasn`t born in the US,he`s an Arab/Muslim,pals around with terrorists,etc.

It used to be until recently,McCain didn`t mix with the fringe eliments that traffic in this poop.

Now he is and with pride,which makes him every bit as much a part it as anyone and just as smelly.

Those 58,000 a plate dinners he has for the average folk.

Status: offline 		Personally I don't care if Obama is totally funded by Al Qaeda and Iraqi insurgents. Really how much worse are they than Bush/McCain's buddies ? Looking at it objectively, who has been more detrimental to the condition of the US ?

Secondly, not all of the middle eastern countries are our enemies. In fact the one's that are were made that way by US/Israeli policy.

Thirdly, maybe it's time to find out who is funding McCain.

If you care to, add that to your arsenal.

so... yeah...
i understand his name is different but CRIPES people...

although ultimately, if what is said is true then all the money in the US actually belongs to the Chinese and/or the Saudis - people who had the sovereign wealth funds to put into the economy back in January - so ultimately both candidates are financed by potentially hostile foreign powers.

Apparently two donors exceeded the 2,300 per person federal limit one giving 17,130 and the other 11,000, both in $200 or less increments, which don't have to be tracked and reported. Obama spokesman Ben LaBolt said the campaign has no idea who the individuals are and has returned all the donations, using the credit-card numbers they gave to the campaign. (In a similar case earlier this year, the campaign returned $33,000 to two Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip who had bought T shirts in bulk from the campaign's online store. They had listed their address as "Ga.," which the campaign took to mean Georgia rather than Gaza.)

All donations however must be logged as you saw in the link that Mercnbeth supplied. I know that both Master and I have made individual contributions and they do add up quickly. Add in the sale of Signs, Bumper Stickers, T-shirts, et. al at http://store.barackobama.com/ and a pretty penny can be raised indeed.

The RNC has announced plans to ask for an audit of  the Obama camps fund raising however. http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/10/05/rnc-to-seek-audit-of-all-contributions-to-obama-campaign/

But then again after the 2000 and 2004 campaigns..this is pretty much par for the course.

It's a universal theme no matter who wins or loses!  Remember "Selected not Elected?" 

Barak's mother was a U.S. citizen...  so no matter where he was born (even in the Panama Canal Zone) he makes the cut... so does McCain. 

As for the contributions...  come on!  Most of them are from the Middle East?   I doubt it. 

Remember, a gratuitous assertion can be gratuitously refuted.  Why bother with quoting sources the other guy can't?
