Without going into too much detail, I need a new life. Not the whole life, but I am tired of working for somebody else. The job is a PITA and everyone knows it so there is a high degree of cooperation. I still want to be boss, but not of that kind of business. One thing I have in mind is a restraint chair, but unlike what is made today. This would be more like a baby's car seat. I have worked out a few detals but not all by any means. First of all I have no intention nor means to go down to the local tool and die and get a mold made for several hundred thousand dollars. I intend to make it out of wood and I don't intend to spend five years carving it. I simply can't duplicate the contour accurately, but do I really need to ? The comfy contour can start with one of the various foam products on the market. Using forms I could use the spray in stuff, but using plastic bags so it is not stuck. Padding could then be applied to that. This all on a wood frame. I would want to be able to adjust the incline but I think I can handle that one. Baby seats usually (used to) have a handle at the top and I've seen people carry them occupied. For an adult there would obviously be more than one handle. Possibly at the sides and even at the top and bottom. The major difference here is that the releases for the straps would be in the back, where the occupant cannot reach, or of course they can simply be in the front, but locked somehow. Of course there needs to be a crotch shield just like a carseat, and ideally a tray like some have, as in a highchair. The tray of course would not be removable by the occupant (in present company I'm not sure I had to bother mentioning that, but oh well) I am not an infantilist by any means, but I think something like this would be fun for a time. Perhaps I just got a streak of infantilism, but it's not at my core. This is still for restraint, for example I would like for the legs to be restrained from some things, I mean by the design of the chair, can only spread them so much. It's kind of like the tray being in the way of the occupant's hands. There was something that caught my eye a while back, and don't bother flaming me for it, do a search for tumbleforms. It's chairs for disabled kids. I would never exploit them and I am not heartless, but there is nothing I can do. After all people buy used leg braces and wear them for fetish use, this is just a picture. People also buy Segufix and Humane Restraint for fetish use. Think of the poor sap they belong on, this is hurting noone. I'm refering to what IIRC they call a feeder chair. It also has optional foot restraints and a neck brace type attatchment. I am not sure what exactly the neck restraint is used to treat, but foot restraints make it obvious that it's for kids that are spastic or something like that. Let's put it this way, IIRC their large size will accomodate a person up to 80 lbs. If they made one size bigger I might have to smash my piggy bank. My idea would be to use wood, screwed glued whatever and with a waterproof paint, hopefully to a high gloss for effect. The concerns now are also how to make it able to be taken apart for shipping. In the beginning I would make one, test it :-) and then sell it after I'm happy with it. Then I would build the next one. I don't see a mass market, but there is a distinct lack of certain things out there. Another reference is in my "Can/does anybody make this harness" thread. Perhaps that should be rephrased to "does ?" because we know it can be made. In each case however, it can but nobody does. There are other things lacking out there. I try to see other points of view, OK I am not a TV, TS or TG, but there seems to be a lack of internet shops that will sell you the Women's undergarments discreetly and not rake you over the coals. Why can't somebody just make 10-15% and let the I-bnusiness damnear run itself. I don't mean bras made of leather or rubber or barbed wire (movie Wierd Science), I mean the same things you see at the local department store. Another thing seems to be lacking is some sort of spec on the tensile strength of restraints. I have broken more than one leather restraint. Some of you know just how much of a letdown that is. It's a high at the same time, "I beat you you ,,,,,," but still a letdown nonetheless. Hell I broke a dog chain once, the solution ? I went out and bought some tow chain. Stuck in the snow ? :-) All I need is that harness. Put my favorite brand of beer a few feet away and presto, you're not stuck anymore. Back to the disabled people thing, there are images out there, like at milwalkeebrace and castroom depicting folks who are really having a bad life. Some may say that his is not a very "savory" fetish, and I would have to agree, but I didn't do it. Offer me a way to help these people that doesn't kill me and,,,,, wait, I got it. Buy their old equipment when they're done with it and put a few bucks into their pocket. Is anyone into like leg braces ? I've never tried them but it's another thing I would like to try. It might not be for me, but you never know. There are alot of things I would like to try. If anyone's into it I wouldn't mind some input. There are so many facets to bondage it is mindboggling. I don't shun nor have disdain for those different than me, I embrace them. They make the world alot more interesting. If everybody was just like me the world would be less interesting (note I did not say boring) . I guess that's why I am here. T
