quote:
ORIGINAL: XaviersXian The way I see it, "husband" is interchangeable with "Master" because, to me, they are one and the same. well wishes, In many languages (and cultures) they are indeed interchangeable; rather, in some languages, the same word can mean "husband" or "master". Hebrew, for exampe, with "ba'al", and many of the languages of India, with "swami" or "pati", among others. (And, err, contrary to what certain cartoons and classified ads might lead us to think, "swami" doesn't mean fortuneteller, it does mean "master", and is used of husbands, owners, spiritual leaders, etc.) So, you see, we're the ones who are following tradition and nature; it's the vanillas who are perverts and radicals! :-D
