Failed "Mile High" Attempt - 12/13/2005 10:22:34 AM

Security on the airlines has gotten a little more relaxed but it seems like somethings are still not allowed. Joining the "mile high club" is not easy. This story regarding a British Airways flight shows a worst case. It could end up costing the couple $58,950 and they didn't even get to stay in Jamaica.

I wonder if they brought the plastic handcuff with them or they were provided by the cabin attendants. Next time beth & I fly we'll have to ask for a pair. It would sure be more fun than the old paper playing cards they used to give out.

You have to love the fact that the guy's name is "Randy" and lives in "Beds"! You can't make this stuff up!

Couple arrested for 'sex rage'
December 10, 2005

THEY were jetting off for a holiday in Kingston, Jamaica, and the drinks flowed freely during the ten-hour flight.

Intoxicated, the couple, who were seated in business class, decided to submit their membership for the 'mile-high club' in one of the toilets.

But the British Airways flight staff became suspicious after hearing cries of passion from the loo, and the randy couple was ordered to stop and return to their seats.

'The captain tried to calm them down but they were just as abusive to him.'

And despite being restrained with plastic handcuffs, the pilot decided he had no choice but to divert the 777 jet to Bermuda.

The story is kinda funny, but um ... it never says the name of either person ... it states that they were "a randy couple" and then "Randy turned into angry" - meaning the emotion changed, not that the guy's name was Randy and he got angry.

WHOOPS!! You're right - but his name could be Randy! Sorry.

Thanks for pointing out the error. I guess I wanted his name to be Randy. He, or she, does come from Bed though - right?

I guess my question is "Who in the heck vacations in Kingston?" It has one of the highest crime and murder rates in the world.

LOL, yeah ... I was kinda disappointed that his name wasn't Randy (or at least not stated as such) ... it somehow makes it a bit less humorous.

Hey if that captian was in the middle of having his copiolet warmed up by one of the flight attendants and they were made to knock it off they would be ticked off too. Shoulda let them finish and they woulda been happy campers.
