No, first Biden lied about ACORN - the fact is, the Obama campaign has given ACORN over $800,000.00 but you can tell he's used to lying that way and getting away with it, and even this brave reporter didn't call him on it.

Then, regarding your claim about Marxism, Biden lied about what Obama told Joe The Plumber about "spreading the wealth" which is available on videotape!!!

Did you catch the how Biden was complaining about how tax cuts on the so-called "rich" are tax increases on everyone else? Who buys that kind of twisted logic. That's utter bullshit. A tax cut is a tax cut... his complaint was essentially that Bush isn't Marxist enough to suit him - he's claiming in that interview that he wants to "tax the rich" in order to help everyone else. If that isn't Marxism, what is it? And then he denies that the Obama administration would be Marxist!

Just admit it, Joe, it will be a lot easier than this strange dance that you do. You're Marxists!

Joe Biden can get away with these obvious lies and distortions, and they'll never make headline news. No... instead the headlines will be along the lines of, someone at the GOP bought Sarah Palin some expensive clothes. Or, there are some grumblings in the McCain camp about Governor Palin.

This, though? Biden caught in even more stupid gaffes and lies?

Never.

What I think is funny is that this same video is posted both on the leftist and the rightist blog sites, each claiming some sort of gaffe benefiting their ideals.

I really don't see anything of interest at all, and certainly nothing new. I do not think Joe Biden gets stumped or angry or gaffed (yes, I just turned that word into a verb...), and I do not see the reporter getting blown away by the brilliance of Joe Bidens answers.

I think it just is the same old same old...reporter using talking points, campaign spokesperson (in this case Joe Biden) responding with talking points.

Yawn.

What's so remarkable about that interview is, how refreshing it was to see a Liberal absolutely hammered in an interview like that, the same way Conservatives normally are...

Now, that's the kind of "change" that this country needs!

That was a total clusterfuck.

The bottom line is this - nobody in the media is asking the intelligent questions of both sides on a regular basis. I can find zero news outlets that consistently ask pointed, important questions of both sides. Shit like "Is Obama a Muslim" or "Who is older, McCain or God?" are totally asinine questions. I can't find anyone seriously asking about balanced budgets, how people intend to handle the impending issues with social security / medicare, what the real causal issues with our economy are (rather than empty platitudes about keeping homeowners in homes they can't afford and shouldn't have been in from the start), or anyone who can talk about Iraq or Afghanistan without sounding mentally deficient.

I'd settle for a non-braindead news anchor, be it conservative or liberal. I'm down to reading the BBC and the fucking economist for my political news because they are the only unbiased, unstupid sources I can find, and they're both fucking British!

I already cast my vote (Yaay Texas Early Voting), so now I can just sit back and watch all the rest of y'all beat each other up over content-less, depth-less, un-thought-provoking jabs at which side is the better and more effective liar. I guess we'll know come election day. The better and more effective liars will be the ones that get elected.

Hey thumbs up for voting... that is one good thing out of all of this...I really do think this election is reminding people of one of our greatest liberties in this country... the vote, and the importance of civic responsibility.

As for may the best liar win..... well I still haven't gotten so jaded as to believe that quite yet, regardless of who wins. I do believe that both candidates want to better their country, the country they love. I don't agree with some of the ideas to get to better, but I do not think that it is all about lies and power grabbing.

Tax is dealt with in brackets as you know. If you cut tax for one group either you have to increase them for another or cut down on Government spending. As someone said before somewhere I forget, "People like tax cuts but still expect Government services to remain the same." Ask McCain where the money is coming from if he isn't cutting government spending on programmes people care about and he isn't increasing taxes for other more numerous groups in the low earnings bracket to pay for the tax cuts given to higher earners and corporations?

Yes the devil is in the detail and there is no detail in any of that. I would want to know what is going to be cut upfront as the above is rather vague. Either he knows what he is going to cut because he should have looked into it when coming up with his figures (in which case put it on the table) or he is guessing he can save money from cutting programmes. He has ruled out cutting certain programmes and those programmes account for the majority of the budget. Do not rely on any promise of 'full public consultation' given by a politician.

ok...as many polls, media, message boards, voters and the rest have predicted, Obama/Biden have won. so, i posed this question based on that fact. McCain/Palin's improper refusal to interview with reporters concerned me as well, but they are not going to be the POTUS/VPOTUS.
i worry that out first amendment rights are again going to be stomped on even more by another administration.

I know it is socialist because between programmes the logo backgrounds are red. People forget the Dr Kelly stuff and the way the BBC went out on a limb to oppose the UK Government view. People also forget the BBC's coverage of the Falklands war and the hatred towards it that caused.

You might want to take a look at the composite polls on Real Clear Politics before you go talking about tightening there Sanity. But, I am sure those numbers are slanted by the liberal media!....
