xXLithiumXx -> Early Haloween Creepiness (10/27/2008 4:57:14 AM)

Okay, so here's what happened.

I get up every morning at 545 central time to get my oldest child up for school. This morning, the alarm clock goes off as planned.
I come out to sit down, drink some tea and smoke a cigarette while shes getting dressed for the bus.  I log on the pc and look at the time. 706 Am.

WTF?!

I go to the bedroom and look at the alarm clock. 606 Am. The clock on the kitchen stove says, 706 am.

No idea what happened, or what the deal is. Noone touched the alarm clock, it stays sitting in the same position, the times on it do not change for any reason. Yet, this morning, its changed.

What happened?

The kid says its ghosts. I dunno what the hell it is....but wow...freaky.

The clocks in the UK went forward an hour last night. Your 'pooter may be set to GMT time.

HEY!!! The time on my computer is an hour behind!! Seriously...wtf?

Daylight savings time was changed from this last weekend to next weekend.  Some things are set to automatically reset, and they're resetting on the wrong weekend.

Same thing happened to me yesterday with all of the atomic alarm clocks in the house.
I tried to convice HM I could sleep in an hour today because of it, but...that didn't work out.
*sigh*

soul2share -> RE: Early Haloween Creepiness (10/28/2008 6:02:41 AM)

You know....I have an alarm clock that isn't set for the alarm to go off, yet it sometimes goes off right at midnight......I have it in the room so I know what the time really is, as I set my alarm clock ahead a bit.  Everytime it goes off, all of the buttons are set to "LOCK" as far as the time is concerned, and the alarm indicator is in the "OFF" position.  The first few times it happened, it sorta freaked me out....now I just hit all the buttons to make it stop.

Wierd..........

One of our cats turned on the answering machine the other day.
But there were no messages.
Stupid cat.

(it's called random stupidity, right? Well, this is random!)
