"Big Brother"? Is that the right link? The story you posted has nothing to do with the concept of Big Brother, it's something about African text messaging spam.

Thanks for the link.
However, I don't think using the internet to help fight the spread of a horrible disease by giving information to the public is "Big Brother"...but what government should do to improve the quality of life for its people.
That is totally different than "Big Brother"...big intrusive government, running our daily lives, telling us how much we can keep of our earnings since IT knows better what is good all of us,(right down to Americans should learn teach their kids Spanish...remember that one)  that every person is entitled to not just life, liberty and the pursuit of happines.   Big Government..big liberal government believes that each is "entitled" to whatever that person needs to be sustained, notwithstanding the contribution that person makes to society or to their own life....if they fall short just take it from others who are productive, redistribute wealth from the most productive in society not just to the poor, but to every living creature who has a dream about what their life should be but won't work at trying to achieve that life. But that's not the real reason, that's what they percieve is a "good reason", a reason to get elected.  The REAL reason is political power and control. That's "Big Brother"...or "Big Sister" to be politically correct as some will charge.
Hey, look at school as a burden and waste of time, get a free pass on to college for four years of vacation on the government dole, want to buy a big house you can't afford, accumulate huge credit card debt and loans to buy that fast car, right down to living in a city on the gulf coast that is under the water level of the sea, not to worry...Big Government will bail you out.  However, to perform this mission of mercy, government must tax productivity or borrow against future productivity...or own it!
