I would not enter into a relationship with a Dominant who wanted to control how I voted. Call it a hard limit.

I understand what you're saying, Tulip.. but lets assume that your guy ordered you to vote for a candidate that you objected to for moral/ethical reasons... what then? what if he wanted you to vote for someone so reprehensible to you that it ran counter to everything you believed was good for the country? (just asking.. since you're being all pensive and stuff... smooch)

I don't see why the rest of the country should suffer because of that. Especially seeing how many people fought and died to give people the right to vote (especially women and minorities.) Sometimes there is a line where BDSM ends and personal responsibilities start and I think voting (along with other things like children, family, etc) is one of those things.

Like most people on here, I'm not about to make my slave vote for my candidate, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that it's counter to democracy! Democracy means every citizen gets one vote. Sweetie...you know me, you know how i feel. How i choose to live my life. But i am thinking about this in other terms. i happen to choose folks that know i feel strong about expressing my ideas and about my outspokeness...that allow me the freedom to make choices about my life. But i was trying to approach this from another angle. The "What if i were an owned slave?" angle. It's all a matter of perspective, after all.

I would not think much of the slave who allowed her vote to be dictated in this fashion. I would think even less of the master who would presume to dictate his slave's vote.
