If he wants me to go someplace or do something, he just tells me. But I wouldn't mind if he had a way to give me directions when I get lost, which unfortunately happens all too frequently.

sounds like dominating from a hidden bat cave - holy flogger, batman! there goes sub X and she's entering a forbidden zone. i wouldn't like having my daily movements "tracked". it would send a message that Daddy doesn't trust me. personally, if you need a GPS locator on your submissive/slave, then there's no trust involved in the relationship.

I kinda like the idea. I think the concept is hot. Imagine going on a gps scavenger hunt and opening up the geocache and out pops a subbie.

In addition I see no reason to believe that just because someone gets all hot because they can track their sub via GPS that this implies that they also don't have actual control of over said sub.

Some have already said it, that you should not need to track your property in such a manner. My girl very rarely disobeys, and then it is not usually intentional. On the very rare occasions she has, her shame always gets the best of her and she tells me within a couple of days at most. She knows that if I find out by other methods that her punishment will be much more severe. Nothing new really. If Master wanted he could track me on his cell. He has the "Kid Find" feature. you connect your kid's (or sub's) phone to yours so you can track where they are when ever you want. He joked about doing it but never has.

My former Master talked about doing this and I loved the idea. I thought it was hot. It's the intention behind the act that defines if the act is something fun and hot or overly domineering. And actually, since I'm always getting lost, I thought it would be useful. One call with "Where the hell am I???" would have been really helpful, lol. It's interesting that people automatically assume it's being used because of distrust.

different strokes for different folks, Vida. i don't find micromanaging fun - to me, it's too constricting to an independent person like myself. others enjoy it and/or need it - more power to them. tracking me on my cellphone (though you can for 911/emergency calls only) sounds like lazy dominating to me ...there's no trust and a whole lot of insecurity on the dominant's part. perhaps someone should invent a dominant GPS tractor as well. fair is fair - if you're going to track me, i should be able to track you too.

I can understand your feeling that if the device were used on you, you would feel he didn't trust you, but as you said - different strokes - and a blanket statement telling someone if they want/need this on their slave, "there's no trust involved in the relationship" is placing a false description of other people's relationships. That's the only part of what you said that I'd disagree with. I don't know the level of trust in your relationship, just as you don't know mine, and so on.
