I can't believe I am asking this here, but it is almost 1 am here and my friends are all asleep, does anyone know how to make it shut? It's winter here, or what passes for winter in Texas...

I can open it as much as I want, and with great difficulty and a lot of jiggling I can get it to where it is about 1 inch from shutting. It seems to be the bottom that is the issue. I have some WD40. It wouldn't open or close if it was off the track, right?

right.. slide it open, try sweeping the track, just in case theres dirt or something. once it's swept, try spraying a small bit of wd-40 (not much, it does tend to have dust and dirt stick to it...)

Thanks, I will try that. It was easier to put out the fire I set in the kitchen yesterday. Putting out a fire should not be easier than shutting a door....

... i have a sliding glass door.. and it'll not want to close so i just vacuum out the track as dirt.. pet hair etc gets stuck in there.. and no one in my family cleans it.. if its clean we'll walk into .. because we won't be able to tell its open...

well the door isnt completely glass and I still walk into it, usually when I'm in a hurry, according to the bf its very comical to watch, and he loves hearing me cuss like a sailor...weirdo lol

wow... I thought I was bad.... I have set my toaster oven on fire, Put Dawn in the dishwasher... Put too much detergent in the washing machine, clogged the sink, broke the garbage disposer.... Broke the HUGE peice of glass in my front door..... tripped over nothing, Fell up the cellar steps and hurt myself so bad that I was on crutches for 3 weeks, and my knee hasn't been right since..... Ok, so yes, Maybe I am worse! HAHA! I think my pillow in the corner is just the place for me.... lol
