corysub -> Los Angeles Times and the Obama tape.. (10/29/2008 6:32:53 AM)

The Times says its promise to a source prevents the paper from posting the video, which shows Barack Obama praising Palestinian activist Rashid Khalidi at a 2003 banquet. The story first appeared in April.

It seems that the L.A. Times is the place to go if you want to hide negative video showing speeches made by Obama that might be considered negative.  If you give them something in confidence, they will keep that confidence.  Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling knowing that they protect sources, unless of course, that source has something negative to say about the USA, the Bush administation, Cheney, Palin, McCain...or important U.S. counter-intelligence.
The New York Times and the L.A. Times, pillars of journalistic excellence?
What's that slogan on the mast?..."All the news that's fit to hide from the public or to hurt the USA".
