Darias -> RE: Warning!!! Not for Palin/McCain fans... (10/31/2008 3:26:33 PM)

Are we seriously entertaining the notion that  mccains gonna win?

heck im not even over there and i think its unlikely

puella -> RE: Warning!!! Not for Palin/McCain fans... (10/31/2008 3:28:41 PM)

Er... that depends on what you think 'we' means.

[;)]

Though to rule that possibility out, or to take any polling info for granted would be a fatal mistake... hopefully something the dems won't do again.  I do think it will be a close race.

Hence my point...Hillary is no ones first choice... but against Palin shes money in the back... even if she had bill has her bloody running mate

Why, yes, some of us are not convinced that the win is in the bag for Obama just yet.

I wouldn't be surprised if he won, but the majority of the pollsters are playing with "new" paradigms for when they come up with the figures about his lead.

If you look at Gallup, check out the difference between the "traditional" and the "enhanced" versions of the same poll.

Most all of the pollsters are using a version of Gallups "enhanced" method.

If they are, the "enhanced" version has generally given Obama at least a 5 point increase over McCain.  The question is ... is the "enhanced" more accurate than the "traditional" version of calculations?

I'm not convinced it is, although I'm not a paid pollster.

There is also other questions that will be unanswered until the election, that could increase the break for either Obama or for McCain in this election.

While I'm not betting that McCain will win, I'd certainly take odds for a bet.

A "I was wrong, sorry" would certainly be appropriate, and show that you were actually posting in the thread for reasons of humor, rather than blatant political theater.

An "I was wrong, sorry" is not appropriate, applicable, necessary, or anything more than a delusional fantasy on your part, but by all means, keep your hopes up!   How appropriate that you would post that in my humor thread!

I have no hopes that you'll overcome your delusions.

Hahaha

Here is another funny one.  A Canadian comedy duo punked Sarah Palin and had her thinking she was talking to Sarkozy.   You have to download the audio at the website, but it's pretty funny.
