My Lovely Boyfriend bought me this from the sex shop, to me it sounds like a cleverly disguised date rape drug..tell me what you think. The substance irritates the urogenital tract and produces an itching sensation in sensitive membranes, a feeling that allegedly increases a woman's desire for intercourse. Original Black Arrow Spanish Fly can be dissolved in any liquid instantly. As many as 15 drops can be mixed in any drink. No, it's not a date-rape drug, does nothing to your mental state, just makes your boy-parts or your girl-parts inflamed and/or itchy. Real cantharides is illegal in many places, including the United States. It is also fatal in small doses. but I actually have the liquid form of it. It might be the real thing....I'm not sure, But I've hidden it from the bf just incase

Usually things claiming to be Spanish Fly aren't -- they just use the name to get people to purchase it. Perhaps do a search on the company that manufactured what you have?

i have heard of other farmers in my area using it to get their cattle to breed (we never had the need, as our bull is as horny as they come). First...i cannot see it used as a date rape drug unless the victim has no sense of smell. It stinks!! My understanding is it also tastes as bad as it smells, but i never had the need to take a hit. Secondly...it is given to the bull because it causes swelling ('nuff said).It is not given to the heifer. Lastly...it has no mental effect that i am aware of.

I remember hearing about Spanish Fly decades ago. Figured it was just a bunch of hooey. Much like the myth that ingesting powdered Rhino horn, or a tiger's penis, or whatever would increase one's sex drive/stamina. My gut tells me that if you are suspicious of this stuff, then DON'T ingest it. Better be safe than sorry (or even dead), eh? It might be interesting to quietly slip a bit of this into your bf's drink, and see what happens to him. Just a thought -- if you want to please him by taking this stuff, pull a switch. Dump out what is in the bottle, and replace it with something harmless. Plain water, grape juice, tea, something that is the same color as this concoction. Then you can 'prove' that the stuff doesn't work as it claims to. OR.... if you want to have some fun....... (heh....heh....heh.... this is what wicked lil ol' me would do wink) Put some of this fake stuff in your drink, and wait awhile for it to get into your system. Then, just go wild on him. DEMAND more and more and more sex. Wear his sorry ass out so bad that he can't even think of walking for a week afterwards. [:)] As far as Spanish Fly causing an itchy sensation.......how would that make one more desirous of sex?? It would make me feel uncomfortable, cranky, and worried that there was something wrong. Having sex would be the last thing on my mind. And if I saw a male scratching his dangly bits, well, I'd run like hell the other way from him. This is not a date rape drug. A date rape drug is not meant to turn someone on, it is meant to make one unaware of their surrondings and situation and basically forget what happened the next day, similiar to an alcohol induced blackout, so a predator can take advantage of the person and rape them. Spanish fly has been around forever, the chances that yu have the real stuff are about a million to one.
