my Master and i am fiancees, but we have desided to be Master and submissive first, when he have lived in this lifestyle for a year or so, instead of a wedding, we want a collaring cermony where i formaly become his, and i need some dress ideas, i plan to be thin my then and is working hard on my diet. i want an elegant dress and nothing to revealing as we will be celebrating together whit non lifestyle frinds, we will marry later when we can aford it and stuff, but we want this cermony binding me to him first and i want the perfect dress for it will be a inportant ocation in our life. Basicaly i am looking for somthing sexy, that is still desent enough that we can go and have a picture taken on that day and hang that on the wall like a wedding photho.

i also need ideas for the formal collar to wear, that will be my permanet collar. my Master is leving theese details up to me as he thinks i am better at them, but ofcourse i need his aproval first.

So can anyone help me whit dress ideas, no matter whit my Master thinks, i only got interested in my looks and in clothes when i got into BDSM and D/s, i am as green on girlie stuff as i am on BDSM and i want it to be perfect.

Somthing i can sew would perhaps be nice, i like simple dresses of nice fabrics and i am learing to sew, but i dont know so any help whit ideas would be werry welcome.

First thing is a question; What is he going to wear to this ceremony?

I would suggest a nice business suit for him with a bowtie instead of a long tie.

And for you, how about a nice dress like you would wear to the school prom? Not too flashy but quite formal and nice. Then a white lace collar could go with that and you could frame that collar and keep it alongside the picture of the two of you.

That realy sounds lovely, i have never been to a prom, i was werry picked on in scool and felt to ugly to go, but i have seen pictures of such dresses, thank you for the sugestion. [:D]

i've seen a crystal colllar made by stravinsky (i think) and some lovely costumes, including hobble dresses. Try the "old fashioned" catagory under "costumes" on www.3wishes.com.

You might also consider a sari; such beautiful fabrics and so inexpensive. Try www.eshanki.com.

If you want vanilla approved stuff then any evening gown would be appropriate.

Hello There,
CHeck out the collaring ceremonies on the web site thefrugaldomme.com. They discuss all the details in several collaring ceremonies.
I am being collared and branded 2/24/06. I am going to wear a simple white shift, white heels,white garter and white hose. My Master is planning on wearing a suit and tie. We are going to follow the ceremony of the roses. I think it's a very moving procedure and my Master has permitted it.
After the ceremony is complete I will have crossed thunderbolts branded on my butt and a gold neclace collar that locks with a gold padlock locked on my neck permanently.

Funny, that is exactly (well, in black leather) what I wore to a commitment ceremony for two good friends in summer 2004. The crowd was a very eclectic mix of ages and inclinations.

A great time was had by all!
