FangsNfeet -> Christmas Brats (12/14/2005 5:51:59 PM)

I have one. Who else does?

I have some christmas presents under the tree for Liltxsubby to open on Christmas Day. She's already trying to peak and figure out what the presents are. She's even begging with "Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease" using puppy dog eyes over and over and over till I tell her to quit asking. Is anyone else having this situation and are you enjoying with your reply of "Wait till Christmas" ?

SirKenin -> RE: Christmas Brats (12/14/2005 7:34:28 PM)

Nope, no Christmas brats here. I have My girlfriend living here, but she is not after Me about presents. Could be because W/we do not have a tree up, nor any presents laid out.

LOL I constantly asked for hints...but it was always in fun and when he said "OK no more hints" then it was over. The problem isn't being cute, it's when you don't stop.

OscarHargraves -> RE: Christmas Brats (12/14/2005 10:34:15 PM)

Hey Fangs,
I don't have that problem anymore. When my last Sub wanted to sneak in and peek I just said, "It's your Christmas. Do whatever you want." She opened every present to her and then was really disappointed when she didn't have anything to open on Christmas morning. I believe she remembers that to this day cuz her new husband says she won't even try to peek at anything. (Yeah, we're friends even though she moved to 'Lost Wages', and yes, he knows about me/us.)

krikket -> RE: Christmas Brats (12/15/2005 5:13:28 AM)

i really don't have any problem waiting for Christmas morning -- i figure that's why they're called Christmas presents..lol. i love receiving prezzies and surprises and don't want to spoil the day for myself or the gift giver. Sure will be glad when the day is finally here and i get to see what's in those interesting looking packages..<g>

cheers,
jimini

i discovered the same thing when i was in my early 20's. it's better to wait than to not have anything on the day.

we'll see, I sent boy a box with three wrapped presents, we will see how good or bad he is----I win either way---<evil grins>

Tempestspet -> RE: Christmas Brats (12/15/2005 11:15:19 AM)

Nope, I don't get bratty. Master really doesn't like it. I think if I was seriously a pain in his butt about my presents... I'd likely find them not there.

Besides I'm 32, not 2.

siamsa24 -> RE: Christmas Brats (12/15/2005 1:10:56 PM)

He's worse then I am. I know that I am not going to get what I want (yes, I already know what I am getting) so I have no desire to peek. He, on the other hand, wakes up every morning and asks if it is Christmas yet. It doesn't help that I keep wrapping the gifts and every few days there is something new under the tree.

Dracironsgirl -> RE: Christmas Brats (12/15/2005 7:45:28 PM)

lol great post ...that sounds adorable to me

mnottertail -> RE: Christmas Brats (12/15/2005 7:56:24 PM)

For some reason our tradition is oyster stew on christmas, although brats and saurkraut don't sound too bad right now...

I've never really been a Christmas brat and it seemed like I wasnt going to be one this year as well, because I picked out my present.. But... Master snuck me a present somehow! I have no idea when He bought it, I have no idea how He wrapped it without me knowing! He must have drugged me!

But now... maybe for the first time, I'm excited *laughs* I've already tried to peek at it, but He put extra layers on it. >< It isnt too long anyhow... this makes me want to give something extra to Him.... He already knows His presents as well... He wont know if it I draw Him something though! *gets to work*

Master is worse than me! Last year I got a package from my mother in NZ and I left it sitting there until Christmas and it drove Him mad cos He wanted to know what was in it. This year I got the packages yesterday and He was so impatient He got the scissors and gave them to me and told me to open them[:D] So I got my presents a week early!

RiotGirl -> RE: Christmas Brats (12/19/2005 10:12:09 PM)

No brats here. Personally i'm never excited about Christmas. My questions is, is it over yet? Though i love buying gifts for people, i've never been big on getting them. Kind of dumb, as the things i want dont come wrapped up. Usually you cant buy them, and if you can they'd be too big to be wrapped up. As weird as it sounds, i on a daily basis have non of these "wants" i dont see a pretty shirt walking in the mall and think "ooo i want that" So really, there isnt much i want. When it comes to "stuff" Though i am sure there will be stuff there. But i could careless. What i DO enjoy is watching the pipsqueak. Now thats grand, as she's got a list more then half her size of things she wants. Always fun to watch the face light up and the joy and the bounce and the sheer excitment. But i have to wait and it only lasts a couple of hours. So, patience is needed, until a couple of hours before when i run rampant through the house to make those few hours awesome. Thats when the excitement for ME starts. Right BEFORE when i start blowing up balloons and odd other things to lead the pipsqueak to the tree.
