There are lots of "gorgeous make up vids" on YouTube.
To my surprise some of the women are Arabic.
Not sure where in Arabia  but they look really sensuous exotic and  erotic.

Yourhand ~ Most of those were done by professional makeup artists using high end cosmetics.  Ben Nye has already been mentioned, but there are other brands you can use.  Don't skimp on either your cosmetics or your brushes.  The Los Angeles area has several makeup schools that will train you to create those looks.  They're a little pricey but you might look into taking one if you're dead set on learning.

Sylvere, LA is over 8 hours away, going to La alone isn't feasable.  I can see his reaction now, Daddy I need you to drive me over 8 hours away for make uplessons and I need to take money out of our struggling house hold budget for make uplessons.

His answer wouldn't be no it'd be hell no lol.

I know someone who is artistic enough to do that. Unfortunately she is such a physco wack job, that I would not want to try to get a hold of her. It's a shame, because she really is good at art.

If I bother with makeup, including the fancy stuff like those vids, all mine is done with Walgreens products. HIP has fantastic effect colors, and I do a lot of prop buying after halloween, especially stuff like eye lashes and the like. Some of the cheap brands have great colors and if you ahve the right equiment, you can still create good looks. If it is for photos only and not something you are going to be doing regularly or for long periods of time, theres no reason to spend a fortune. I dont, never have and likely never will.

I think it's more about does it look good on you, rthan your age, and you have nothing to loose but a bit of time, so try it and see, regardless of age.

I have to agree with you Greedy, I have admired allyC's photos and writing here in CM for a long time.  I look for her posts to see what new pictures she has and to read what she has to write.
