i have had 3 different men -- on three different sites -- hack into my pc and mess with my email; my YIM; hopefully not my C Drive but i don't know. No law enforcement help was available because they had not stolen more than $25,000. One man kept it up for months, as i went through 3 different ISP's and i suppose he'd still be at it if he hadn't eventually lost interest. i worried about identity theft; about information i had on other people (like their email and YIM ID's); etc. but eventually i calmed down as well. Still, it was a miserable experience and could have been worse. i have preached before about using a good firewall, virus protection, and spyware protection. About not opening or sending files through the IM. About taking care how much personal information You give out over the 'net. You cannot leave your common sense at the door to your home office. If i were in the Op's place, i'd speak up but i'd only go so far; i would say what i could authenticate, but no more. candystripper
