I have not posted on here before but I thought I would share this with people after a comment made by someone else I have chatted to.

Some people think that they are never going to find genuine people on here that they get along with and can form a relationship with and for a lot of people this may be true. When I first joined on here I was just looking for likeminded people to chat to and share experiences with. I have found many of those people. I also never thought that I would meet one of these people but I was wrong.

I will not mention names but I have met someone from Collarme in person. It was not strange, we met first in a bar on neutral territory and had a meal. It was nice and I went home thinking nothing more of it than I would a normal date. It has since developped into being occasional playmates and I think, friends. This experience has given a young girl like me hope that I may find people not only on Collarme but also in the real world who share similar interests and guilty pleasures.

This is a message to tell all those sceptics that a) meeting people on the internet can work even if it isn't one of those whirlwind romance situations and b) Collarme is like any other networking site... you will always find phoney's but there are also a lot of genuine people out there just waiting to be found.

The person I have met from here is great and he knows it. I just hope other people continue to get the chance to have similarly positive experiences.

Yes, there are those who don't believe anyone on here ever meets, but, we do!

Thank you for sharing this with us.   I have friends who have met through sites like this and some are now married.   There are so many positive things to come from a great place like this.   I wish you much happiness for the future .

I have met many wonderful people from collarme in person both men and women. They have all become good friends.
Thre may be some bad ones but finding one good one is worth it.

I met my AngelSir here. He's positively wonderful and i adore him. [:D] I make him smile and have been told a 1000 times... I am his pleasure. Well I am so happy to have met him.

My mom used to tell me the story of how her and my dad met.  Now I will tell you her story as she told it to me: 

"We met in the middle of the woods.  He took a leak on my tree stand, twenty feet below me.  What can I say?  Love is where you find it."

I believe that love is where you find.  But I also believe that if you don't put yourself out there, it won't find you.

That's s good one Feathers. Meaning you never know who you could meet great anywhere and even on the net...until you actually meet. Far too few come here it seems looking at this as a great advantage and headstart to anything we want...play, scenes and even a relationship of any kind.

For that...meeting is the key.

I have also found a local group and many of them are on cm. We have so much fun together and have formed deep and caring bonds.

The intensity of playing with eachother and having vanilla fun together as well has been one of the most satisfying experiences of my life.

After a munch at a local restaurant this month we went into the bar area to chat. The owner had taken off to go home, the waitress knows us and is very open to bdsm. There was a twenty-something year old good looking big dude at the bar and he confessed that the only thing that flips his bic is pain. One of my friends had his big toy bag out in the car and he brought it in for fun and show and tell.

I used a bunch of the toys on this guy right in the bar! lol.
He was the only customer left in the bar and we had a blast.

Then we trapsed out to the dark parking lot and had a scene right there. I have a Dom friend who doesn't let anyone use toys on him and he asked me to give him a session to see what his pain threshold could take. It was exhilarating to play out in public. I kept glancing around to make sure no vanillas could see what we were doing and my Dom friend bought two of the toys and gave them to me.

These kinds of memories make my life so much fun and the stress reduction is amazing.

I totally agree. Just like anything in life, you get from this site what you put into it. People generally suck everywhere, so it stands to reason most people on this site suck, but so what? We're all adults and should have learned to filter those we find uninteresting or not worth the time & effort. I've been on similar sites online for about a year and have made some amazing friendships and met a few great people face-to-face. I've also met one person from this site and had a very positive experience with him, and I hope to befriend and meet many more.

What better way to meet like-minded pervs than on a site for said pervs? Of course, it's risky, of course, the intrawebs are swimming with fakes and mental midgets, but they're much easier to identify and wade through than in a real time environment.
