Indifferent....all that interests me is the titties pics[;)]

I journal for Sir every day, so I don't feel compelled to share too much of myself on the journal here. I'll put little thoughts here and there on my CM journal but the inner secrets are kept for Him.

Thanks to everyone that responded.

I use my journal a bit but not really as a journal. That's more what I do on LJ or keep the old fashioned way and just for me. For me the CM journal is another place to tell people about me. I think I would rather contact someone who has journal enteries simply because they will give me a better idea of who the person is.

Heck I can't even write a profile. How am I going to do a journal.

JustDarkness -> RE: CollarMe Journals - Like, Dislike or Indifferent? (11/3/2008 5:10:28 AM)

TNstepsout -> RE: CollarMe Journals - Like, Dislike or Indifferent? (11/3/2008 5:12:02 AM)

I'm not a very consistent journaler (ist?) but I enjoy it. I like adding odd little bits about my life that give others a sense of who I am. I also enjoy reading others journals when they have an interesting perspective.

SilverMark -> RE: CollarMe Journals - Like, Dislike or Indifferent? (11/3/2008 5:24:12 AM)

I have never used mine....
Perhaps I should...each time I read others so many seem to be nothing more than bitch sessions about people's reaction to them or what they don't want.
I guess in either case it's their space and they can say whatever they wish. We all know we are all fake here anyway...most of them tell us so!....lol

I don't know what to say to this. *rolls eyes and laughs*

xXLithiumXx -> RE: CollarMe Journals - Like, Dislike or Indifferent? (11/3/2008 12:04:27 PM)

I used to journal. And I may start again, but in all honesty, I dont know that I want many people knowing about who I am as a person. It seems to take the work out of having to get to know some one to have it all there.

The few journals I have read and commented on, I have been sorely disappointed when the person began to speak. There was one guy, a switch, profile was funny, journal was funny, got to talking and he was a psychotic asshole. Talking about dead bodies and such.

Another occasion got to know some one, spent some time talking to them, didnt care for the journal, but found them to be one of the more intelligent people that I have spoken to in some time.

The female I was messing with, had no journal, and now I know why. The insanity that she was holding back would scare any one away.  So, I guess its really just a toss up. Sometimes you get what you see and others, you dont. Take your pick.

We like journaling. beth journals regularly and has quite a few books filled with her thoughts going back to day 1 together. Even though there are a lot of long gaps, it still provides some amazing references. Its fun to use the journals to dust off some of the cobwebs that have formed on the memories.

The CM journal is mostly mine. Most of the time to announce a trip or some event, but sometimes for cathartic release of feelings. If there were a 'spell check' function on a pen - perhaps I'd have a written version like beth. Truth is, any of the remedial spelling skill I did have is now completely gone from long term use of spell check. Editing and proof reading are also slowing going as a result of reading the word, or word form I think, and meant, to use instead of the wrong version that I've typed. Having to think about spelling all the words would distract me from the thoughts I want to convey.

Writing things out is a good way to expose feelings and emotions. Journaling is a nice tool for learning about yourself. Whether to express thoughts, mark noteworthy achievements, or just document some random thought you had in the shower; journaling is beneficial, especially to purge, vent, and cleanse, somethings that just needed to be said - if only to yourself.

It's nice that CM has allocated some space to do so.

It is nice that they added it, even though I have not used it in ages.....

And yes, I like to read journals that have something more than songs copied and so forth. I don't care for the poetry stuff in some so I tend to move past them quickly. The journals that are all negative and bitchy, I skip over also.

Fnordstrum -> RE: CollarMe Journals - Like, Dislike or Indifferent? (11/3/2008 5:52:35 PM)

I like reading people's journals, lots of times you can get a little better (sometimes much better) feel for a person from that instead of just what's in their profile... I like posting journals too, even though I don't really expect anyone to be reading them.

Fnord.

Yeah, I like reading people's journals.
Except for when, for whatever reason, they insert *poetry* in them!
I mean, for what purpose?
That's like cranking your car stereo to annoy strangers on the street.
If I'm trying to learn something about someone comming upon a *poem* is like someone else *interupting!*
If I'm trying to get a handle on a person's personality why o why would I want to be interupted by a *poem?"*
It's like a bum shaking his dick at you as you walk down the street enjoying the day.
It just isn't the time or place to insert *poems.*
"I like to be flogged.....Alas, poor Uoric!"

kittinSol -> RE: CollarMe Journals - Like, Dislike or Indifferent? (11/3/2008 6:15:09 PM)

I like having a place where to post the occasional funny article or song lyrics that have touched me - it wouldn't occur to me to share super personal things on a collarme journal. That strikes me as very weird.

Kittin, yeah, I like funny stuff too!
And if someone wants to tell me that they like yellow cake over chocolate cake, that kind of thing.
But I want to read *their* words not some obscure "poet" who no-one ever heard of before.
I don't understand why people do that.
Are they trying to impress others?

theobserver -> RE: CollarMe Journals - Like, Dislike or Indifferent? (11/3/2008 7:29:28 PM)

Well I know what I'll be doing tonight. Reading all these journals. I've read some of your journals, but not all.

This outta be interesting.

Hey AS,

Your journal entry on the "whose viewing you" page definitely stood out because I've wondered the same thing. What does inspire people to view your profile? <--rhetorical

What inspires you to check out someone's profile?

LaTigresse,

That quote from your March 3rd journal entry sent a chill down my spine. You are a  no nonsense lady! *grins*

Aww you aren't a poet at heart? I read your journal, you are quite the comedian.
