I am in the process of making a rope flogger. I have everything worked out except how to finish the ends of the rope. I can "whip" the ends as I do with most of my ropes but that will leave a "hard end."

If any of you have made a rope floggers, please share with me how you finished the "business ends" of the rope.

eather let the rope fray burn tie or whip it thats it

If you would like 'kinder' ends, try whipping the ends back about an inch and use a very small cord/or thread for the whip. The end protruding past the whipping will be soft after you use it a bit.
