I have been really enjoying Rachel Maddow.
I like her personality and she is a well educated,
charming breath of fresh air.

I enjoy a woman who can get down and dirty with the boys.
Who else is enjoying the vibrant Rachel Maddox?
Do you also find her fair and balanced?

I find her fascinating and I hope she has a long television career.

Yes, Loved her from seeing her political contributions before she had her own show.
She's great,  M

She's had a show on AirAmerica for quite a while. I thoroughly enjoy her TV show but still think her more wide open radio show was better.

I'm somewhat surprised that her sexuality hasn't been made an issue of by someone or other.

The Rachael Maddox show is one of the few interesting liberal TV shows on air.  She is smart, not balanced but basically Air Ameica with pictures. I can't prove it with data but I also think she brings more people with opposing views on her show than Keith Olbermann who I think is intimidated by people who really understand politics but have a right of center philosophy.

However, she is not the nutcase that Olbermann was so well characterized on SNL, and does not interupt her guests or speak over them as does Chris Matthews who is convinced no one knows politics or has as much passion as he does.

Edit:   It's not a "news show"...it liberal commentary...but entertaining at the same time.

Well she is open about being gay.
I don't think that her audience and supporters care much.
In fact, that is probably making her more popular.
The more I watch her, the more I like her.
She would even be cuter with a "lesbian mullet".
Go Rachel!

Your wife has good taste.  I don't lean that way and I think she's beautiful.

....And I voted, and I'm so excited today, I could scream.    M

I am off to vote in a few minutes myself.
I am hoping you rocked the vote, M.
I am going to "rock" my vote!
M? I fully plan on dancing and screaming tonight, but then I knew last month
that I would be today.
We can both dance in the dark tonight!

Hell, I don't think it matters which way you lean to like someone
any more, M.
 I just enjoy listening to and watching her, she is so witty and brilliant. {IMHO}
I will be watching her tonight on the Decision 2008 coverage!
I hope Rachel is around AND on the air,

for at least the next 50 years.
Rachel Maddow rocks!

Kent Jones is a favorite of mine.

He`s a riot.

He was with her Air America radio show from the start and left recently(to my chagrin).

But he`s back on with her MSNBC program.

Vigilance!!(totally inside joke)

My first taste of Kent came when Bush/Rove took office.

He would write the daily "liberal marching orders".lol

One great one he did, was to burst into a playing of The Passion Of The Christ and yell out,"hey, this isn`t Hell Boy and run out.

I love her. She could totally be related to Olbermann cause those two are so much alike...but she's so cute and she has the best sense of humor. And she's a lesbian, which is awesome! =)
It's like a repeat of everything Olbermann said in the previous hour, but I watch her anyway, if only to sigh over how adorable she is.

Rachel Maddow is great.  She had one of the few shows I really could ever stand to listen to on Air America.
Smart, she sure is... she is a Rhodes Scholar and ended up doing her doctorate at Oxford  (hence "Ask Dr. Maddows, one of my favorite bits on her old show.. with Kent Jones).

I like that she clearly states, I am a proud liberal, and does not try to slip things by as being without a view point.  I also like that she directly takes on opposing view points, respectfully and often times with a lot of  shy(ish) humor... I am loving the "It's Pat!" and "Talk Me Down" sections of her TV program (does anyone else find themselves humming the 'It's Pat" theme song from SNL when that comes on?).

What I think I find so refreshing is that she embodies the idea that liberalism does not (have to) mean crazy lefty.  She is well informed, thoughtful and a very considerate host  (can you imagine trying to have "Talk Me Down with either Chris Matthews or Bill O'Reilly???  Scream me down would be more like it, and if I were the guest I have no doubt it would end up turning into Beat Me Down...honestly those two really have shouting issues to deal with.)

It really has turned out to be one of my favorite shows on TV these days... nice and calm (and almost nerdily intelligent in terms of pinning down fact after fact after fact in a tedious and very stable way!!!  And again, she did a great interview of Obama, in my opinion.

You're better off. She's just more theater from the left side of the fence feeding the liberals what they want to hear along with Olbermann. No different than what O'Reilly and Cannity do from the right side of the fence.
