OMG this woman is too much - or too little rather. This was during a prank call from a Canadian comedian. With McCain already older than the age his father and grandfather were when they died, this woman could be in the Oval Office quicker than you can say "you betcha". Our large trading partner to the north - and Palin's neighbor with a long border with her state, and she hasn't the foggiest idea who the PM is.

When Audette refers to Canadian singer Steph Carse as Canada's prime minister, Palin replies: "Well, he's doing fine and yeah, when you come into a position underestimated it gives you an opportunity to prove the pundits and the critics wrong. You work that much harder." Canada's prime minister is Stephen Harper.

Messing up a name is one thing.

Starting a war is another

Well, I don't mean to be one of those "gotcha" people who get on a candidate's case because he/she doesn't know who the deputy foreign minister of Luxembourg or Kazikstan (sp?) is. But here we're talking about our largest trading partner, and the one country Palin had even visited prior to the past couple months when suddenly she had to get interested in the world outside of Wasilla and Anchorage. This is just pathetic. And she just played along, pretending to know something she didn't.

No wonder she brushed aside Gwen Ifill at the debate and said she would talk about what she wanted to talk about. She doesn't know anything. If McCain kicks the bucket after six months Palin would be in charge. That ought to scare the bejeezus out of anyone.
