Beautiful permanent collar....help? (Full Version)

Sir and i are planning Oour collaring ceremony for next year and i have been looking and looking on the net for a collar that i can wear everyday, that i cannot remove, that is beautiful to look at, but won't get too many Nilla's all hot and bothered...  Eternity collars are great, but they are a little heavy looking for me.
 
So far i have found lovely delicate silver ones on Chaotic Creations, and i was wondering if anyone knew of any other companies, maybe in the UK that i should look at?  i have looked up all the artisan pages on here and not really come up with anything...  i will need silver i should think as i am not too clever with non-precious metals...

Try the tiffany's "Love" collection.  In general, remember that there's a lot more "jewelry" out there than "collars".

Eternity collars should do fine. My girl wears one and very, very rarely gets anyone asking about it, and no one ever stares. The first week or two you may notice the weight a bit, but after that you will stop noticing it that much. My girl is a dancer, and even doing pole tricks and such it does not bother her. Now the anklets took a little longer for her to get used to. Both collar and anklets have been in place since she was collared, except for when she got a tattoo on her neck, and she wept when it had to be removed by me for about twenty minutes.

My girl wears the Talon collar I got for her at Madam S leather in San Francisco, (link attached). With the ring for a lead...it looks like a modern art necklace to individuals who are not familiar with collars. (Oh what a lovely necklace, is the comment she often gets) Of course anyone who knows collars, knows what it is. It is curved so that it sits comfortably around the neck and over the shoulders. The weight is comfortable. For her we chose the non locking as I take it off her for when she does shoots, but there are locking collars available. the link will show males in the collar. you can see it on her at our profile. I wear a gold filled wire collar from Chaotic Creations, it looks delicate but so far has held up. Its beautiful and I get nice comments about my 'necklace'. You can choose the screw down type which is solid or what I chose which is one with a clasp. I get minor bouts of claustrophobia and need to remove it on occasion. It is lightweight and comfortable.

Hey Gabrielle.  Try contacting Aneirin on here.  He is a fab metalsmith and made me a wonderful set of talons, a ring and some chains.  I know he is busy with college, but he might have some time or point you in a good direction.  I think he is going away for a few days and might not see this thread.

My Sir got a sterling silver collar - a hybrid - from chaotic creations. I haven't had it off in two and a half years, and love it.

I think you mean Cartier.  Tiffany's has some lovely options for collars, but I don't think any of them are difficult to remove.

Best i have seen..they do custom pieces and can even incorporate old bits of jewellery.

They do screw down, wire designs, gold,silver, anything you can think of really
