I agree, insecurity and loneliness has a lot to do with it. Sometimes I reply and sometimes I just ignore. It's usually not worth my time to come up with something witty. I do like the response you gave, though.

Sheesh....I was looking for it too. I thought it fit the bill....Random Stupidity. Thanks for the heads-up.

On point with the OP.....I also have a "list" in my journal I reference in my profile, similar to what Lockit mentioned having. Hasn't changed what I recieve for the good. If anything, it has gotten worse. Now instead of lots of 'do me' Dom emails, I'm getting an equal amounts if not more of 'do me' sub letters. I'm not sure how you ladies handle this.

The world is full of people with many motivations. Likewise, the Internet is a medium without much responsibility. You can send anything to anyone and there is (usually) little consequence. It's a disconnected medium that is easy to use / abuse.
